He will slip out of this mess, too. After what he said about the Rutgers team, he should have been done!
I wonder what would happen if I went on the radio and made comments akin to his about whites. I wouldn't do that, but I bet my ass couldn't even beg for a job flipping burgers.

I just love how he's now saying that he was trying to show that cops have it out for black men just because they're black and that was why he made that comment. Sure Don...racist prick.

I believe it. Imus says he's defending, not offending 'Pacman' Jones - CNN.com
Didn't I say yesterday that he was probably making a social commentary and not a racist joke? Imagine if Kanye West, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, Debbie Allen, or any other outspoken Black person had said that. We'd all be backing them up shouting "Well said!" and "I heard that, mmmm hm!" with two snaps in a circle and a twist of the neck.
Besides, after the Rutgers scandal, he'd have to be the dumbest douche on the planet to make race jokes about Black people. And Imus definitely is not the dumbest douche on the planet.

She's a very laid back person, not outspoken in the least, neither is her sister.

He's been living out there in nohwere land, no mention of him anywhere, anytime. That;s not good for business. I'm cyncial, but I say he did on purpose to try and drum up listeners.

I agree but only to an extent. I've spent time with her, and I can tell you for a fact that she is most definitely not the one to keep her mouth shut if she feels she's been mistreated or what have you.
My point: Debbie Allen is a regular person, she makes observations just like we do, so it's not a stretch for me to imagine her making the same comment that Imus made. (There's one conversation in particular that I was thinking of, which is why I included her in that list with Al Sharpton.) Trust: Ms. Allen's opinions are just as strong as Sharpton's, she just doesn't hold press conferences.

Aha! That's a possibility I hadn't considered!

So that means she isn't outspoken about it...if so she would've released statements, held PC..etc..

I'd be more apt to believe Imus was making the comment about racial profiling if he didn't have a history of making racist comments. He'd be the last person to care about racial profiling. Let's face it, he's a racist tool and now he's backpedaling to save his job.

Nobody has mentioned this, but I think it's offensive to suggest that the only reason Jones has been punished by the law is because of his skin color. I guess extreme political correctness will turn criminals into victims of the "establishment"

He's a complete buffoon. But, there is a double standard. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Joe Biden have made countless racist remarks and go 'unpunished'. Either be consistent or forget it.

No one is suggesting that. Just come out and say what you really mean, Purple.

He's full of shit. If that's what he initiallly thought then he should have done so in a more articulate manner. In addition to that, he needs to get those fucking marbles out of his mouth.
