Oh rats.
the Mummy is my guilty pleasure. First time I saw Rachel Weisz I thought she was flat out beautiful. Brendan wasn't George of the Jungle but with his hair piece he wasn't bad. The eye candy was Oded Fehr however he's not going to be in the 3rd one.. we get Jet Li instead.... rah.
Maria Bello is OK but geez she's no Rachel Weisz.
I'd whine if I was the director too - if I was Rachel I wouldn't make the movie either... it's got flop written all over it.
why are they even making another one anyway![]()
& Rachel did well, of course.
the movie will suck
the beautiful oded fehr will not be in the movie
no arnold vosloo , no patricia ve (sp)
^DAYUM.
Actresses decline to take roles all the time, and frankly, I don't blame her for not wanting to play the mother of a 21 year old.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
In interview she said while promoting the Mummy Returns that they were fun movies, but she was done with the series after the second one. It was never a question of her being in a third one. She decided this ages ago.

There will be times you might leap before you look
There'll be times you'll like the cover and that's precisely why you'll love the book
Do it anyway
OMFG what happened to him?He used to be so cute. I'm embarrassed to admit that I watch "Blast from the Past" every time it comes on because he's so sweet and cute in it.
^^ it's OK I had the hots for him in George of the Jungle.![]()
I thought she turned it down to do The Lovely Bones? Hmm... Rob "Douchebag" Cohen, or Peter Jackson? Tough call!
I saw a film today, oh boy.
The movies are crap. Rachel did the right thing.
Did Bredan Fraser agree to come back?
Not that he's done anything amazing lately anyways.
I agree that Brendan Frazer used to be quite the hottie. As for Rachel Weisz not returning to the Mummy...KILL off her character rather than 'replace' her!
I hate it when an actor/actress decides not to come back to a show or movie to reprise their role and they are replaced with a different actor (I.E. Maggie Gyllenhaal replacing Katie Holmes in 'Dark Knight')
I know it may not seem like a big deal for some but I find it quite distracting! Because then rather than pay attention to and enjoy the movie I am comparing the differences between the actors, etc...
The brain doesn't need blood. It just needs to be kept wet.
