OK! Magazine exclusively confirmed Katie's intent to run the marathon back in October--one month before the actual race.
Yeah, so?

What do we think of that? I can't pick it apart as I have no idea how things work in the marathon.

Again, I've never run in NY but it's VERY easy to drop in and out of the race in the Chicago marathon. The streets are lined ten deep and, at any given time, there are at least 20 people running around you. Anyone can come and go.

Same with the Marine Corp marathon in DC. There are plenty of places where it would be easy to slip right in.

absolutely - I've cheered friends on and ran a block or so with them - and no one pays attention and the crowds are so thick in some places. But why for the life of me someone would subject themselves to such torture!

I saw some clips of Katie's press tour. I think on Best Week Ever. She is such a zombie. Boring, brain dead, zombie. I can't see her having enough energy to run around the block much less 26 miles. I'm thinking that they keep her drugged.

Who cares about stupid OK Magazine's pronouncement. It provides NO relevant info and is USELESS AND MEANINGLESS. So they just decide to 'announce' that she told them ahead of time she would be running it, so that must make it so..that she did run it? FUCK THEM. Arrogant Assholes.

Are they on crack? That proves that one month before the race she said she intended to run it. WTF? Does anyone go to journalism school anymore??

I posted it because I thought that the CO$ PR people had been here... seeing as we're up to 400 posts on this subject... and had swung in to action.... which I thought was worth noting.... and creepy!

Novice, I don't mean to speak on anyone's behalf, but I don't think Soj was blasing you for posting this, but blasting OK! for acting as if it proved Katie ran the race.

It's funny to watch the CO$ PR people in action. They come up with these stupid schemes then scramble when they backfire.
I don't doubt that they scour the internet for stuff written about Tom and Katie. They're as anal as Tom is about control and spin.

I saw that too. It is completely and totally amazing how she is lacking in any interesting thoughts. I'd compare her to a 40 year old Amish woman but I know a lot of Amish women and they are far more lively that KatIE.

I think her co$ people are molding her to be this way. I think somewhere deep down inside is the old Katie, but they have sucked the life out of her for the most part. They're probably telling her she looks "regal and "sophisticated," and someone who is worthy of being Tom's wife. I don't think she has a say in the matter.
