Yeah I've been looking and I've found bupkis. I checked GettyImages, several other photo sites, nothing.

Tom looks like such a little Queen in that picture. For heaven's sake, he looks like David Gest.

Onward with Katie:
can someone versed in running explain to me the significance of the 'F' in her number? someone here indicated that is for top-level athletes or something?

I can't believe this thread got so long, OMG!
I still stand by my original observations--lack of sports bra, too "fresh" looking...she did not run the marathon.

Check out those pics of Lance Armstrong - he's a superfit, elite athlete with several Tours de France wins which is a HUGE achievement in terms of stamina, fitness, endurance, etc. Allowing for the fact that running isn't his 'sport' the physical effort in running for 26 miles still clearly shows. Next time you go out in your car, just check how far 26 miles actually is and then decide if Katie could have done it and arrived at the finish line as fresh as a daisy without months and months of intensive training.

I'm with you! I wont even run on my elliptical machine without a serious sports bra. Nevermind a frickin' marathon. That top she's wearing wouldn't even help me on the elliptical. I'd be in pain and searching for a more serious sports bra in under 3 minutes.
Sidenote: fellow female athletes, if you haven't tried Shock Absorber sports bras, you MUST. Victoria's Secret used to carry them, I believe they are a British brand. But they are THE best. For all bra sizes. Just the best.
Shock Absorber
Edit: OMG!!!! Their Bounce-o-meter is HILARIOUS!!!! You pick your cup size and your level of activity and it shows boobs that size in action, and in a normal sports bra, and in a Shock Absorber bra. That was very educational.
And totally relevant to this thread!

EXACTLY Cali. I don't dare hit the treadmill at a walking pace without a sportsbra, let alone the elliptical! And I'm not overly endowed either. Just the thought of it....OW!!!!!
Shock Absorber bras...that sounds like a good investment. I'll have to look into that.

I'm perplexed about the bra thing too or lack of should I say. I mean I feel exposed running to the letterbox without one on let alone in a marathon knowing full well my pic is going to be taken. Seems a bit strange to me.

How do we know Katie was "daisy fresh?" She looks a bit haggard to me. I have a friend who routinely runs long marathons and she looks amazingly fresh and collected when she finishes. I've been surprised many times, and I know for a fact that she runs every step of her races.
And if the whole thing is a sham, I'm sure Katie's Co$ handlers would have had the bra aspect covered. Just because some people wouldn't dream of running without a bra (like me), that doesn't mean that everybody feels the same way.

You are all forgetting that Katie has been purified and detoxed by the CoS - she will never break a sweat or look tired no matter what she does.

Aw come on PB - she doesn't have a bead of sweat, she's not even 'glowing' and her hair isn't even damp. Quite an achievement for someone who hasn't (to our knowledge) been doing a huge amount of training. Yes, she's lost weight but that doesn't equate to fitness and running, even jogging 26 MILES wipes out elite athletes, let alone vapid, lobotomised fembots.
When I do my cardio workout at the gym I am soaked with sweat after just one hour, let alone 5+ hours. And I'm not a naturally 'sweaty' person.
I really hope that the organisers of the NY marathon at least investigate this - provided the Co$ doesn't get to them first - because if she cheated it's a slap in the face to all the competitors who did it the hard way. It would also give the added bonus of making the TomKat travelling circus look even more foolish than they already are.
