Did Katie Holmes fake the NY Marathon and have someone else run it for her?

I've been trying to find pics of Katie running at different times during the marathon and I'm coming up with nothing. I'll keep looking, and post any if I can find them.

Googled for Lance Armstrong as a comparision to the finish shots. Bear in mind this is for an elite athlete and not a novice runner.

I have never been in, or participated in a marathon, but wouldn't people around her notice her just popping mid way into a marathon? Especially since she is someone well known?

I think they were pretty low-key about it...didn't announce it ahead of time and Katie registered under a fake name. She was wearing a hat and could have blended in and out of the crowd. And Tom and Suri didn't show up till the 18th mile.

Well, people take bathroom breaks then pop back in. She could have pretended she was doing that, no? Are there preventative measures against this type of thing?

No. Usually marathon routes are lined with people (at least for the big ones). In Chicago, the entire 26.2 miles had crowds at least 10 people deep on both sides of the streets. It's amazing. People hang out of their apartment windows to cheer runners on. It would be absolutely simple to jump in where you please.

for real! I think it's safe to say Lance is a better athlete than Katie will be on his worst day, but then again, with the CO$ behind her I'm sure it was a breeze for her. Her magic vitamins prevent her from sweating. More Lance marathon pictures:

Geez... when I work out, I wear as little as possible because I feel way too hot and sweaty. I can't imagine wearing long pants and a sweater...gah!!
