ITA. I lurked here for so long it's fun to finally participate. I enjoy reading everybody's opinions, even if I don't necessarily agree. No desire to take it to argument level.
Re Katie, I also agree it's not just one thing that makes me suspicious. She and Tom's whole life is one big conspiracy theory! And it's sooo funny that they always seem to have some major "positive" news story to go along with their movie openings.

Update: Thanks to Calimoonchild on Gossip Rocks for the link to this photo on sawzy’s Flickr of Wesley Okerson, who was not registered in the NY City Marathon and wore a bib from 2003, wearing a tracking chip despite the fact that he wouldn’t need one or presumably get one if he wasn’t registered. Katie Holmes is nowhere to be found, although she finished the race alongside both Okerson and Paul Vincent as seen in the photo above. Okerson is obviously behind the smiling old guy. There are three photos of just Okerson with no Katie in sight on sawzy’s Flickr. Commentor sc on our other post about this curious issue said he was a volunteer for seven hours on the course at the same spot and that the celebrities were easily spotted, but that he never saw Holmes pass.

It is possible that he had his own chip and used it in the race. I know for fact that running clubs like the Arizona Road Racers sells chips that can be used in other races and marathons across the country.

As someone who's run a few marathons, a bunch of half marathons, and one triathlon (sprint distance) I want to know Katie's secret to looking so incredibly fresh crossing the finish line. Not saying that it's not possible but the only people I've seen who looked remotely that good at the finish are elite athletes. Sure, she could've stopped somewhere and primped. What I find amazing it her going out that night in heels! After my marathons I puked, puked some more, sat in ice for a helluva lot longer than 10 minutes, and once the puking stopped started popping the ibuprofen. My feet were bruised, a little bloody and sore as hell for days afterwards. After the sprint triathlon, I wasn't that tired and could've partied all night. But there's something about running a full marathon that really breaks you down. If Katie did run that whole marathon I would love to know her secret.
I used to have my own chip, bought through a local running club. Don't run anymore because of bad knees but it was great while it lasted.

^^ With a letter stating that as a serious runner, they are highly suspicious that she cheated and frankly offended that it looks as if she's going to get away with it.
