Did Katie Holmes fake the NY Marathon and have someone else run it for her?

Ok, nwgirl, you asked...not me specifically of course, but here goes.

If I say "no way did katie run that marathon!" I think it's safe to assume it's only my opinion. Do I have to phrase it as "In my opinion, no way did Katie run that marathon" in order for it to be understood that it's JUST my opinion and of course I don't know for sure because I wasn't actually THERE?

I dunno...this argument is getting a little ridiculous. But in my opinion, only as a bystander with no axe to grind, you did set the tone with your "fucking Sherlock Holmeses" comment. I think if you would have said, hey I'm just playing devils advocate here, but here's MY opinion, it might have been received better.

Again, just my opinion.

I think we all need to put our Sense Of Humour chip back in. Seriously.

There is now a lot of circumstantial evidence out there that would suggest she didn't run the whole marathon and since this is a celebrity gossip board (it's name gives a clue) and not a court of law then I'm prepared to consider it. If the mother of one of TomKat's trainers (who is undoubtedly a Co$ goon like the rest of their extensive entourage) is the only person who confirms she ran I'm afraid remain sceptical.

So...that verbiage is considered opinion. Good to know. I really thought it was being stated as fact.

Taking that into consideration, I can see how my words would be offensive. So...for anyone I offended or who thought I was calling them a moron - I'm sorry you were offended by my tone or words. They were intended to offend, obviously, but that's when I thought we were talking facts.

I couldn't figure out why everyone was having such a hard time with what I said. But now that I know the difference between what is considered stating fact vs. opinion on this board, I feel bad if I offended anyone by questioning their opinion or asking them to back up their opinion or mocking their opinion by calling them Sherlock Holmes or the like. That was not my intent.

Its cool. It takes a strong person to apologize. Anyway, its only in good fun, I honestly don't know whether or not Katie ran the marathon, but the little things start to add up and they do make me wonder. I find it most suspicious that she was not photographed at all until the last leg of the race, especially since she is so high profile.
