I never said it was or was not against the rules. I just pointed it out since the question was being tossed back and forth of what things you said, who attacked who first, yada yada. And about that controlling brain thing..that is what really pisses you off, isn't it? You try and try and THINK you have made such great arguments and that we must be stupid or nuts not to agree with you. Sorry but your arguments are not that good. And we do not have to be stupid or crazy to disagree with you-and you cannot control our opinions and what we think. You must be a really miserable person to know in real life btw.

I don't know if Katie ran the marathon or not, but I would like to point out one part of the argument where I have *some* personal experience.

My old roommate and I trained for just under 5 months for a triathlon. We did the triathlon, went home, showered, drank champagne, then went out for dinner with the other triathlon people in our training group. We partied our asses off as a celebration after dinner and danced all night. We wore dresses and high heels. My roommate's feet were in much worse shape than mine, I never had any chewed up toes, BUT, we did a triathlon, so there was also swimming and biking, not just running.

Well I reread the thread and that other thread. And it just pissed me off. I felt nwgirl was just really insufferable so I had to spout. You don't remember the HIV positive kid in the pool thread where you told me that if you had control of my brain you'd walk me out in traffic for being such a miserable person? (Funny/ironic thing is, I told you in that thread that you didn't get to think for me because you were trying to cram it down my throat how very wrong my thoughts were on that subject, which is what you're saying here to me. That just kind of struck me as funny.)

I did make great arguments, which I backed up. I don't care if you think they're great. I don't think anyone is stupid or crazy because they don't agree with me. I think they're stupid or crazy if they believe some of the shit that was trotted out in either of these threads. No woman has ever run a marathon without a bra? I think you'd have to be either stupid or crazy to make that statement when it's so obviously not true. Sorry. Just like you think someone is stupid or crazy (or ignorant or whatever) when they say that being gay is a choice even though there's lots of proof to the contrary.

Don't tell me you don't sometimes feel like you're banging your head against a wall when you have this conversation with people (the gay is a choice convo) and their only answer is equivalent to "nu-unh" and "we'll just agree to disagree."

And yes, actually, needing to defend myself and not being able to just walk away is one of my major flaws. I own it. I wish I could change it, but it's ingrained in me. Of course, I'm sure I'm the only one with detrimental personality traits. And snotty too? What a combo. How very miserable I must be.
