I was there as a kid, but I had fun at the time and seem to remember liking the food. I was happy to find out it's still open.

I know they have special rules and all, but this photo gave so little (basically, none) information, I don't see why it's a big deal. But I'm not the type to take foodie pics anyway (maybe once or twice that I can remember, and they were special).

Agree. I use social media yet am guarded in some ways about my privacy. For example: A plate of food? Okay. Something that reveals the total layout of the house or lots of personal details? Nope.

i dunno. i have friends IRL who don't do FB et al and i respect their privacy by not even posting pics when when i do something with them or their kids, even if the pic doesn't include them or their kids. i don't even post on FB that i was someplace with them. it seems like a boundary.

People think I'm weird at holidays or events where they're doing all their poses for online crap. I'm like nope, I'm not wanting my picture online. Same thing with work. During conferences they're snapping away and I say hey, I don't want to be on your website so delete any photos of me.

^Lol, I gave the worst fucking stinkeye to my MIL at Thanksgiving bc I was trying to hoover down some dinner so I could resume Jimmy-chasing/holding duty, and she decides to take a fucking picture for her facebook right then. And in the picture I'm giving her a look like, "Really?!?" I was clearly conveyed concentrated annoyance.

I should have told her not to post that shit and to cut it the fuck out.

Ditto, except the occasional group pic at a wedding or similar.

My son and family dont have any on line activity and we all are forbidden posting any of their pictures.I post a lot of my youngest who dosent care at all, some of my elder who wants minimum presence.I post food ,just the dish i might cook and i know it is a favorite of my people, and some plates i get on my travels.I like that because it reminds me of such special times...
