I'm so sure now his son's death is related to all of this. What if Ennis was killed in revenge for one of these assaults? It's possible.

I doubt it. The people were arrested. Here is an excerpt from a letter the killer wrote from prison:

At his trial, prosecutors relied on jailhouse letters where Markhasev allegedly confesses to the slaying and writes, "I shot the nigger … I went to rob a [drug] connection and obviously found something else." In their appeals, Markhasev's lawyers tried to get his conviction overturned, arguing that the letters had been forged by another convict, but their arguments failed.

Yeah, sometimes bad things (Ennis' murder) just happen to bad people (Cosby).

Even if not related, it makes me wonder if Ennis was carrying on Daddy's tradition. If Cosby made comments like above to Kenan Thompson, what did he say to/teach his own kid?

If something like that was going down and Daddy was getting his ludes from a doctor, where would Ennis get his? Doesn't sound like there would be enough to share, although I'm sure there are lot's of other sources besides a street dealer.

I dunno, I've never even been offered pain meds in my state there is a very strict control over prescribing them. I damn near lost a finger a few years ago and got nothing, had to take Tylenol. Hhhmmm....interesting thoughts.

^^^ it is an DEA sched 1 drug. this means it is regulated on a national (DEA) level, not state. not sure if the DEA had such stringent controls of this particular drug back in the day.

i don't even know what kinds of physicians can currently prescribe it - it is in the same class as heroin and lsd.
