I thought the same, but then remembered that's Summer's Eve.
Summer Rain sounds more like a scent for bathroom spray.
Summer Rain is one of my favorite oldies. Not a great name, though.
Does it never occur to new mothers who give their babies ridiculous names that these children will be adults someday? I'm sure "Princess Apple Dumpling" won't be the least bit embarrassed by her name when she's out scoping a high-powered position on Wall St. *sigh*
Take out the middle name and Summer Rutler is livable with, more so than North West.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me. Hunter S Thompson

^it is easier for those that probably won't have to work a real job at any point in their lives.
my fiance and i are working through names we like - no glimmer of a baby yet! - and one of my main things for both girls and boys is to have names that i think would pass in a corporate environment. no cutesy names for any of my kids.

I've never had a vaginal birth, and never will, but I can't imagine a csection is easier, I literally couldn't get out of bed without wincing for at least a week, and I slept on my stomach same day I had a laparoscopy with multiple incisions. I still have pain 4 weeks later. I had mine mainly because he was frank breech.
either name would have been okay if paired with something else (like Summer Nicole, or Devin Rain, etc) but together it's too "earthy". it's like how i never wear a print on top AND on bottom. if i have a print on my top than my bottom attire needs to be solid, and vice versa. otherwise it's too much. having two hippie names is not a good look.
