Whatever happened to TMI? I can't imagine saying anything about my vajayjay in an interview with Hello! magazine. I don't think I needed to know that, and she shouldn't have to justify her birthing choice to anyone.

Many 3rd world women develope serious complications before, during and after birth. I was wondering who'd bring up the "poor people having babies in fields then go back to work" point. They don't have the option to scream, get a doctor or NOT work immediately after, in all likelyhood they'd be beaten or starve if they didn't. Trust, it's not for a lack of pain. They do have problematic births.
Ever hear of a fistula? They are most common in 3rd world areas:

She's afraid of a little vaginal tear, but not afraid of having her belly sliced open and organs set out on a table? She's also not afraid of having her tits cut open for breast implant insertion, which I hear is extremely painful. The recovery is anyway.
Sounds really backwards to me, but to each her own!

Wasn't there already a thread on the whole c-section debate?
I'll say it again anyway...
Babies are meant to be delivered through the vagina. There are numerous physiological events that happen during this process, most importantly, fluid being squeezed out of the lungs and the release of stress hormones that help the baby transition to life outside the uterus. Babies and moms are generally safer and healthier with a vaginal birth. C-sections are meant for emergencies.

I agree, being sliced open seems way worse to me.

I thought maybe it was all smoke and mirrors to hide a tummy tuck? Isn't that what Posh did?
I think this is pretty case-specific with anatomy: mine doesn't conform that neatly to the norm, and neither did my mom; a rule what of what is "right" didn't do much for our abdomens or naughty bits, despite how child birth or women's bodies "should" be. C-sections offer to folks like us less trauma and pain in the long run than the kind of tearing we would experience otherwise.

sometimes you cant have a natural birth, so there's a c-section to be done. christina is dumb, if she could've have it natural, but that's her decision. i dont see nothing wrong with c-section either, if there's a problem with giving birth.

Agreed - c-sections are terrific and have saved many lives - moms and kids. Sadly, Drs began to use them more and more because it is more convenient for them and they can bill more. Now women are choosing major surgery for their own convenience and often for vanity. Insurance companies need to crack down.

Aren't there benefits to natural births though? I thought the fluids in the birth canal helped babies to breathe and adjust.
I still don't get why you'd opt for surgery over a natural delivery, but hey, to each their own

C-sections are wonderful for women who truly need them. That said, CS are being used in more and more situations when they need not be, and it can be very dangerous for the baby and the mother;
like when the babies are removed too early (due dates are not exact).
X-tina is a stupid dink. I think she opted for a CS because she didn't want to get too big and risk getting stretch marks, she has herpes, and she wanted a tummy tuck (called a C-tuck).

Lol I agree! But I think if there is nothing wrong and you can have the baby naturally then you should. Oh yeah, where did the word vajayjay come from? I keep hearing it online but I've never heard it used anywhere else. I like it though, it makes it sound cute! Ha.
