^yeah me neither. I think they have the operation for themselves, not for other people. And they've had to put up with discrimination and bullshit from society all along, I don't think they'd expect it to go away after the operation. Narrow-minded assholes are still going to be narrow-minded assholes.

I can't begin to understand what Chaz must have gone through emotionally, but I am glad that he's finally feeling more at peace. I do hope that he's truly happy. He waited long enough before having had the surgery, didn't he?

Chaz is taking on a brave and courageous journey in life. I wish him well and wish success and love and acceptance.
Good for him.

Seriously? If that's true, it's horrible. What is the 97% based on... a large study, or your ex's experience?

Really? Did they no have to do the 'anchor' incision around the nipple, then down to the underside of the boobie and along the underside? I would do it in a heartbeat if it was less obvious/painful.

Its only if its not what you REALLY wanted to begin with.........but only thought you wanted... With my surgeries and there have been several, the only thing I regret is the scars. NOt the outcome. I was always happy with that. He will be at peace with himself.

To the tune of 6-10 grand, one can get a reduction. Good plastic surgeons don't accept insurance anymore (I wouldn't. It's a huge hassle.) Unless I can get good coverage in an EU system, the prospect looks bleak.

Wasn't he told to lose weight before the operations? Being that size with so much surgery looks dangerous to me.

Evidently no, since they have already started!

He looked like shit in the interview I saw. Looks like he has gained 150 pounds. His face and neck was gross.

I understand about loving somebody, but I don't believe it's that easy to switch what you find sexually attractive. I think if you like your own sex, that's what you like. Picture a gay man whose lover cuts off his penis and now has a vagina, is it the same because he "loves" him? My guess is no. You may still love them but do you still want to have sex with them?

I get what you're saying. If my girlfriend wanted to become a man, I'd be supportive, but that would be the end of the romantic relationship for me. She might be the same person inside, but on the outside she'd be a man. I don't want to be with a man. That's just me though.
I hope someone is encouraging him to lose weight and take care of himself. He really does not look healthy. Combine his weight with the shock of surgery and the stuff he's taking to transition and that has to be quite hard on his system.

Maybe not, but they might still want to be together in a celibate relationship or be together emotionally and physically with other people. Who knows? Relationships can vary so much.

Good for him. Watching Chaz on that celebrity weight loss show, he came across as a genuinely sweet, personable, likeable person. People like that deserve happiness.
I wonder in the long run how his change will affect his current relationship.
