If she didn't, she should have hired a surrogate. I was so sick almost the whole time, you could not have paid me to go through that again. But I guess she has no choice.

I hope it is a girl and that her birth prompts the overturning of the law favoring males in succession.

One of my SIL's, who was already about 110 pounds to start, got such horrible morning sickness during her pregnancy, they had to give her drugs that they normally give to chemo patients so that she could hold food down.

I give her credit for having pregnancies so close together.
I waited years in between mine because of the horrible sickness. Mine started from week two to well into the second trimester.
How I ended up 30-40 pounds heavier and 10 pound babies, i'll never know because I barely ate after the sickness died down.

Congrats to the couple. Yea.. George gets a sibling!

It's so common to have kids close together but I think I'm partial to seeing friends space them out just because of focusing on one at a time. They are so needy and little and need so much before the age of 3. What do I know. It's all mother nature anyway.

^^^They will have nannies and such, so the babies can be as needy as they want. I don't buy that BS about them being hands-on, at least not all of the time.

^^ I like George. I get a feeling about a baby right away. Makes so sense. Couldn't stand Sean Lennon and still can't, but loved John.

Needy as in needing Mummy love, attention, fed by Mummy and put to bed by her (or mother and father). Makes for a much warmer royal.

Hey, we mere mortals can pop out spawn every couple of years and manage perfectly OK without a tribe of nannies, housekeepers, cooks, chauffeurs, etc.. These two live a life of pampered luxury by comparison. Their version of "hands on" is very different to ours. Grandma Middleton likes to be in the thick of it too. This will also give lazy Kate the perfect excuse to do nothing for at least another 18 months. It's been noted how little she contributes to the royal workload already.

I love other people's babies and especially royal babies, so I'm looking forward to another one, hopefully as cute as Prince George.
I liked the jokes that they'll name the kid Hamish or Glasgow to try to squash the independence vote. That tweet from Clarence House referring to Kate and Will as "Their Royal Highnesses" is really ridiculous. Does that mean everyone else in the UK is lowly, I don't get that term. That idea would make me want to vote for independence if I were in Scotland but apparently they're keeping the monarchy whether they're independent or not.

If you're a senior royal you're an HRH. No big deal although I'm annoyed those useless York girls get the HRH too.
