It really says a lot about the society these days though...
I don't know what the facination with the rich and the famous...
Too many vapid reality shows all over the place...

I can not STAND this woman. It's like she's totally desperate for any kind of attention. Just go away.

Exactly! And she seems to be such a reality-show whore. Why is it she so is effed up when the other one (Wendy) appears to be normal?
Guess Carnie inheritied all of Brian's DNA.

Wilson-Phillips. They had that big massive pop hit "Don't Let Go" in 1990. Carnie was always sitting behind a piano, or some other object while little bitty, skinny Chynna Phillips and Wendy Wilson were featured in the front.
SNL did a parody of an awards show and Chris Farley played Carnie Wilson.

Id love to see that skit.
Yes her daughter is a little Tessie Tubster. Surely Carnie is aware of that and can show her the correct foods to eat even if she doesnt or cant do it herself?

^^^ Absolutely she can. I have a child around the same age and I was obese up until this last year. I was very careful to make sure my son ate nutritionally sound meals. There was no excuse for how I looked and I didn't want to pass that onto my kids. Thankfully, I am now providing a better example and I eat better now as well.
It's sad that her child is already a little hefty. 4 year olds are supposed to be running around non-stop. Yes, they will eat fries and cookies and drink juice all day if you let them which is why I, as their PARENT, have to tell them no sometimes (or multiple times a day). They scream and cry and tell me "mean mommy" and someday they'll thank me for it.
I know some kids have metabolic disorders and for them being overweight can't be helped. But they're the exception, not the rule. Looking at the mom I can't help but wonder if it's her fault, not some underlying genetic condition. I'm sorry for the poor little girl who will undoubtedly be teased in school.

When I saw the commercial for that, my first thought was: "Of course she sees ghosts!" *shakes head*

You don't think they both could have an underlying metabolic condition since they do share the same genetics? Not saying that's true, just putting it out there for thought.

^^^It's possible, but IMO seems unlikely as true metabolic disorders are incredibly rare. More often than not, it's the parents' poor eating choices keeping themselves, and their children, unhealthy and overweight. I'm pretty sure Carny has never mentioned any underlying condition, but rather blamed herself for her weight/food issues. I could be wrong though.
