What a nice thing to do. I'd love for someone to put that much effort into a present for me.

Ugliest woman ever.Love story. What? Selfishness, betrayal, infidelity, lack of concern for how her actions affected the husband she cheated on and the woman whose husband she was blatantly cheating with. Yeah, this has romance all over it.
And this ugly, jug-eared, whiny future king is a giant tampon.

I had the same read. Camilla played nothing of the innocent and had a kind of power about her. Something about Diana's precious, sheltered vibe drove me batshit crazy, as did the fawning all over that quality.
Still surprised that these two were together since '70. Yowza.

You could say exactly the same thing about St Diana and the (several) husbands of other women she shagged both during and after her marriage.
I don't condone infidelity at all but as far as we know Charles and Camilla were at least "monogamous" in their 35 year affair. Diana was predatory and promiscuous - if she saw a man she wanted, marrried or not, she went all out to get him and frequently did, just because she could.
There still seems to be a huge double standard applied to how Charles AND Diana behaved.

geez for a minute there I thought I was going to be a lone in this.
That fulgy butt crack used Diana as a breed cow, got his heir and a spare and dumped her. I hope his mother out lives him and he never put's his boiled covered butt on the throne.
Camilla Parker neigh neigh Bowels cheated on her husband, love story phfft two bottom feeders.

I'm glad that people are at long last seeing Camilla for the good influence she is and that they really are very happy together. And I have a huge amount of respect for the fact that she's NEVER spoken or even commented publicly about her relationship with Charles, before or after their marriage. If Diana had kept her trap shut things might have turned out differently for her.

Sorry A*O but you are incorrect. In the years of her being the official mistress, Camilla had a standing once a week briefing to her friend the editor of a sympathetic newspaper. After first having hand picked Diana Spencer as an absolute mouse, Camilla was in fact one of the chief 'Diana is insane, and imagining all kinds of things' leakers when Diana was no longer willing to play the mouse. Also, her former Parker Bowles brother in law was widely quoted as having said that Charles and Camilla spent the night before the Charles and Diana wedding tearing up the sheets. There was no chance for that marriage to work with the High Puppetmistress pulling Charles' strings, among other things.

I said Camilla has never PUBLICLY discussed her relationship with Prince Charles. Of course they had a shag before his wedding day. Diana knew all about Camilla from the get-go and how Charles felt about her and yet still went ahead and married him.
By "monogamous" I mean that Charles and Camilla haven't had other lovers apart from each other. Diana had several that we know about and probably more that we don't. Andrew Parker Bowles isn't a slouch when it comes to shagging his way around other men's wives too. He was Princess Anne's boyfriend for a while (both were single). This kind of stuff is perfectly "normal" in those upper class circles. Wives and husbands turn a blind eye to it provided everyone remains discrete and since everyone is at it in the first place nobody starts casting the first stone. Prince Philip has had mistresses for years, his current favourite is Lady Penny Romsey but there have been LOTS of others including his cousin Princess Alexandra and actress Anna Massey. Even the Queen is widely rumoured to have had an affair with Lord Porchester (later Earl Carnarvon) to whom her second son, Prince Andrew, bears a striking resemblance. We don't know HALF of what goes on.
