I actually think Britney has a point. Jamie Lynn Spears became famous because she was Britney's sister. If it weren't for Britney, executives at Nickelodeon wouldn't have given her the time of day.

I bet she did at the height of her madness, but clothes for her and her kids. And she probably never did laundry: clothes are disposable to Britney! Wear them once, then toss 'em (unless they are one of her two pairs of skank boots).

Either that or she hid other expenses (cough, drugs) under the 'clothing' tab in her legal documents.

Prosecutors Refuse to Drop Driving Charges Against Britney Spears



Prosecutors refused to drop driving without a license charges against Britney Spears on Thursday.
Her lawyer Charlie Unger had pleaded that Spears, 26, "seems to be getting her life together. She has nothing on her record other than the infraction-type tickets we all get."
But Los Angeles city attorney Michael Amerian said Spears' hit-and-run charge had already been dropped from the incident last August when her Mercedes hit a parked car.
Pursuing the driving without a license charges, Amerian argued, is "the fairest way to treat her. [We're] not affected by her celebrity status."
The case will continue June 18.
Spears' attorney, Unger, told Access Hollywood, "We’re still hoping we can work this all out."

Emma Roberts: Jamie Lynn Will Be a "Great Mom"

As Jamie Lynn Spears nears her summer due date, more and more well wishes are coming her way, including one from Nickelodeon buddy Emma Roberts.

"I think she’ll be a great mom and I wish her all the best with everything cause, you know, that has to be, hard," Emma tells OK!.

Though the media has presented the two teen starlets to be close friends, Emma claims that's not the case.

"I’m not really good friends with her," she says. "I know everyone thinks I know the inside [scoop]. I saw her a lot for Nickelodeon and she’s a very sweet girl and really nice."

If the 17-year-old gets to meet Jamie Lynn's new bundle of joy, she'll certainly have much experience being around babies. Her aunt, Julia Roberts, is mom to twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 3, and 9-month-old Henry, with whom Emma spends a lot of time with.

"I just hung out with her and the twins and the new baby," she reveals. "We’re just family...She’s a really good mom. It’s really cute to see her with the kids."

But despite all the family time together, the Unfabulous star concedes she probably won't be baby-sitting the tykes any time soon even though aunt Julia would let her.

"I don’t know if could handle them, the twins. They are a lot of energy, but they are so much fun."

Daddy Spears might finally do what he should have done a long time ago. Daddy reportedly wants to drag Brit Brit by her bunk ass weave back to Louisiana. Daddy is afraid that he won't be able to control the "bad influences" around her for long. He is also planning to file a court request to keep her away from clubs, drugs and Adnan Ghalib.
A source said, “Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life. He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister. And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who’ve been using her.”
Brit Brit has been making progress in her recovery, but that's only because Daddy Spears is the HBIC of her life. I don't understand why Brit would not want to go back home. They have all her favorite things including Super Wal-Mart, deep fried twinkies, mattress surfing contests, hot flavored pork rinds and peanuts in Coca Cola. I would think it would be her heaven!

According to sources, Kevin Federline has admitted that he still loves his ex-wife Britney Spears and may consider letting her back into his life. Insiders claim that Federline told Spears’ father Jamie Spears that he “still loves Britney” and “would definitely take her back.”
“Kevin even admitted to Jamie that he still loves Britney,” claims a source. “Kevin would definitely take her back, but she will have to stay on track for a while. She was the love of his life, and he’ll never get over that.”

Meanwhile, Spears has regained visitation rights with her and Federline’s two sons. Her father and psychiatrist must be present for the visits.
