I find it refreshing to know so many of you gals still wear pearls in this day and age. They can really dress up or dress down just about any outfit, and are always appropriate. Barbara Bush was never without three strands around her neck.

My ex once told me that a pearl is the result of lots of friction. When a day is filled with too much friction, pearl production goes up!

100% guy, but gay man. And we can act like a bunch of girls at times, lol. And if you saw the juxtaposition of me in a real pearl necklace (I'm not exactly a feminine man), you would die laughing.

Some gay men joke like this - we say things like "Why clutch my pearls" and call each other Mary. I have no idea why, but its much more fun than watching football.
