I know several individuals who truly are bipolar and who recognized that their manic/depressed cycles were detrimental to their well-being and sought help. Of course, they weren't narcissistic, self-centered, immature, disgusting pigs like Britney, so perhaps it was a little easier for them to admit that they had a problem.

I also bet they were not multi-millionaires who had money rolling in constantly..like $700,000.00 a month, and tons of enablers around so they could just be crazy and NOT have any real devastating consequences ..although I think losing your kids would be a devastating consequence to most people ..also did they have a severe addiction problem as well? Just makes it all worse huh?

The best thing for her would be for her to continue to be nuts and break down, to the point someone else is given guardianship over her and can MAKE her get treatment/help whatever. At least then they could cut her off from her endless money supply so she would have to face that consequence. Tie a cheeto to a string and lead her to the pysch(or addiction) ward that way if they have to.

Better to be seen as 'bipolar'(a chemical disorder) rather than as a spoiled drug addict twat.

I guess I think that her people/enablers are just trying to 'spin' the trainwreck now.

Yeah, several were/are recovering addicts - I don't think we can blame everything on that, either. Many addicts care about their kids and even about their mental health. That's what drives a lot of them to seek recovery.

While Britney may have some of these problems, she is, first in and foremost (in my humble opinion) a spoiled piece of trash who thinks everything in the world is hers for the taking regardless of the repercussions - including losing her babies, which, from my personal encounters with addicts, is unfathomable even to most women with severe addiction or mental problems. The possibility of losing their children is what drives many women into seeking recovery from addiction.

I dunno...I know to most people, losing your kids would be that final wakeup call, but we're talking about someone whose entire existence revolves around...herself. Those kids can't give her the attention she craves, they need HER attention. But I don't think that's in Brit's vocabulary.

I remember reading some account of her meltdown night...that she said she was playing dress-up, with the kids in the room because that's their favorite game (or something like that) I mean, how self-absorbed can someone be?? She really has no clue how to be a mother, she just looks at those babies like they should be her adoring fans or something.

Unfortunately, there really are people out there who only have kids because they want someone to love THEM.
