Scared little girl? The skanky bitch is nearly 30. Who the hell cares what HER PROBLEMS ARE! She needs to get over herself, and at least give the children to someone who can properly raise them. I've been dealing with chronic depression since I was 11, and I know I'm not in the spotlight, nor do I create fucking drama, but I have an idea..and I still deal with it, but I sure as hell accept it moved on, and did not use it as an excuse to be a stupid selfish bitch. SHE IS A GROWN WOMAN! AN ADULT! There are RAPE victims who don't act like this, who cherish their lives, and makes something of themselves! So, she needs to get the FUCK overherself, and GROW UP!

Even if someone is "forced into" rehab, it won't help. Someone has to want to quit first, and admit their demons, before they can get real help. Britney won't do that - in her mind, everyone else is the problem and not her. I have not one iota of sympathy for this woman. Be a drug addict when it affects only you, I have no right to tell you how to live your life. But when it affects your kids, who YOU brought into this world, and YOU don't give a damn about, then its time for me to bitchslap a ho. Fuck her. I hear people whining about her family all the time. She is 25 years old!!! She's not a baby, I have no idea why people treat her with kid gloves. At that age you should know how to act properly, you shouldn't have to have your family around telling you to put on underwear, make sure you feed your kids, etc. Give me a break. If this was a non-celebrity, everyone would be disassociating themselves from this bitch and telling her straight up that she's a horrible person, but since she's a celeb, then she's treated like a kid and people ask "where's her family? All child stars end up like this!" News flash, out of the MMC, how many of the others are drug-addled and can't get it together and treat others like shit? Christina Aguilera? Keri Russell? Ryan Gosling? Justin Timberlake? Thats what I thought. Don't give this girl any more excuses. The sad thing is, she has every resource in the world at her feet, unlike those who are addicted and poor. But yet they are treated worse than this bitch. I would gladly beat some sense into her, she is the only celebrity that makes my blood boil. She makes Paris look like a saint in my book.

While I do agree that you have to want to get clean before it can work, there are times when someone is so messed up on drugs that they are incapable of deciding whether they want to stop until they actually get some of the drugs out of their body. Sometimes it is helpful to get someone away from the drugs long enough so that they have a moment of clarity where they can actually realize how messed up their life has become, and make a decision to want to stop using and continue treatment, rehab, etc. That's why interventions sometimes work.

The more I look at Britney, the more I see a self-centered little snot who only wants things her own way. Even still, at this point you would think she would at least try rehab since everyone is laughing at her and pointing fingers. She is either in so much pain that she cannot imagine a life without the relief of alcohol and drugs, or she is just a vile waste of a human being who will stop at nothing to satisfy her insatiable cravings. And I am beginning to think its the latter.

Of course they can! They're toddlers, they can see and hear. They may not know the rules of the road but certainly they can feel when a car they're in is out of control and when other cars are screeching and honking around them.

I remember the video footage of her screaming at that paparrazzi, telling her to go to Weight Watchers: one of the kids was literally screaming in the backseat and Britney was ignoring him.

As for her being mentally ill, I call bullshit. I think that's just an excuse people cling to because they don't want to admit that the "sweet southern gal" image created by her handlers was phony.

I think Lindsay Lohan is an alcoholic, inherited from her father, but do people claim she's not responsible for her actions because of it? Being an addict may be a mental disease but it doesn't mean you're excused for your actions. None of Britney's behavior indicates any mental illness aside from her being an addict who is constantly spoiled and enabled. But people want it to be something else because they want her to some mental illness that means she has no control over her behavior, rather than just that she's a spoiled brat who knows right and wrong, but chooses wrong anyway.

I don't know how much of it is mental illness versus plain stupidity and stubbornness.

The only way I see it could be true mental illness is if she has a mental breakdown because she can't handle or understand how her bad choices have landed her in this mess that her life is now. Maybe if she is of such low intellect that she's borderline retarded and truly doesn't comprehend cause and effect. Otherwise, how is refusing to accept responsibility for her own poor judgment and bad choices equivalent to mental illness?
