Britney Spears Spotted For the First Time Since Entering Mental Health Treatment Facility

    By: CYDNEY CONTRERAS
    Thu., Apr. 11, 2019 2:16 PM

Britney Spears is practicing self-care and "feeling refreshed" amid her stay at a mental health treatment center.
The singer was spotted at a Los Angeles-area hair salon on Thursday morning. An eyewitness tells E! News, "Britney arrived with three people from her team this morning to get her blonde roots touched up and extensions retouched."
According to the eyewitness, the performer sat in the chairs by the other clients rather than in a private area. "Several people worked on Britney's hair and were very quick and efficient to get her out of there as fast as possible," the eyewitness adds. "She seemed fine and content... [She] was definitely excited to her hair done."
But the "Lucky" singer isn't just excited to get a blowout. The source, who described the A-lister as "feeling refreshed," shares, "Britney is excited to see her children and get back into her routine, but is taking one day at a time."

Britney hinted at her decision stay at the center in an Instagram post shared on April 3. "We all need to take a little 'me time'," the star wrote alongside a photo of inspirational words.

A source previously told E! News, "Britney decided to do this on her own. It had a lot to do with the stress of her father, but both Jamie and Britney are doing much better. It's the hope that in the next week or so everything will be more stabilized, but she'll be at this wellness facility for a few weeks."
During her time at the facility, the source said the singer was able to "rejuvenate and rest" in peace.

Health and wellness has been a point of focus for the singer in recent months as she spends time with her ailing father, Jamie Spears. Her desire to spend time with Jamie also led to her decision to cancel her residency in Las Vegas. "I will not be performing my new show Domination. I've been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it's important to always put your family first… and that's the decision I had to make," the singer explained on Instagram. "I hope you all can understand."
While Britney focuses her attention on her father, her ex-husband Kevin Federline has been taking care of their two sons, Sean and Jayden. A source previously told E! News, "They stay with Kevin some of the time and they also stay at Britney's home with a caregiver some of the time. She's still seeing all of her doctors and therapists, so nothing is that different, this is just a place where she can go to actually have peace and rest."
Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, is rallying behind the the 37-year-old. "It isn't weakness, it's a sign of absolute strength, people should only be inspired by this, at least I am," he told his fans on Instagram.

Fans are saying it's so bad that she's being "locked" and treated, but it's the first time in 11 years that she actually is being supervised by doctors 24/7 and getting the proper treatment, even in 2007 when she was hospitalized she didn't seem to spend more than a week in a treatment center. Now they have time to actually see how medication affects her, what dose is right etc etc all under 24/7 care. This is something they should have done in 2007, not now.

We’re supposed to believe her immature vaguebooking mom who the courts didn’t seek to include in the conservancy is the voice of reason here?

Do you honestly believe that they have been feeding her the wrong dosage for 12 years????
She isn’t “locked” up/in she’s been to hair appointments etc.

With her wealth if after the first initial recovery from the od is stabilised, why not be treated at home? There is less chance of security breaches, you’re not going to have some “reporter” paying someone to access her medical records or some nosey twat that checks them just for shits & giggles.

After #FreeBritney Trends, Sources Say That Britney Spears Was In A Really Bad Way Before Getting Treatment

    April 19, 2019 / Posted by: Michael K

    150

The #FreeBritney movement started after the podcasters behind the podcast Britney’s Gram did an episode devoted to a tip they got from a dude who claims to have been a paralegal at the law firm that handles Brit Brit Spears’ conservatorship.
In January, Brit Brit announced that she was dropping her latest Las Vegas residency Dominationlike it was broccoli that wasn’t slathered in Velveeta, because Daddy Spears, whose colon had ruptured, had the sicks and she wanted to care for him. Then we heard earlier this month that Daddy Spears’ condition was getting worse and the stress became too much for Brit to take and she voluntarily checked herself into a 30-day mental health program at some wellness center. Well, that paralegal dude claims that Brit is being held against her will in a mental institution and Daddy Spears put her there in January after she stopped taking her meds. And now “sources” are coming out to say there would’ve been an encore of her pink wig and umbrella-wielding days if something wasn’t done.

The paralegal dude says that this all started when Daddy Spears, who is Brit’s sole conservator, found out that she stopped taking her meds. He threatened to pull Domination and use his sickness as the excuse. And when she continued to treat her meds like a fraudulent Frapp not from Starbucks by refusing to put them in her mouth, Daddy Spears made good on his promise. He canceled Domination, and when she was papped driving (something she’s reportedly not allowed to do) to the emporium of heavenly deliciousness that is In-N-Out, Daddy Spears sent her to that mental institution.
Since that episode of Britney’s Gram came out, Brit’s mom Lynne Spears has liked Instagram comments about #FreeBritney, the podcasters went on Access Hollywood, a #FreeBritney protest of sorts is going down to today, and Extraproducer Carlo De Santis told a tale of Daddy Spears’ controlling antics, which Extra host Mario Lopez said was true.
    The tea jumped out! pic.twitter.com/UurQI5FcF5
    — crldsnts (@CandidlyCarlo) April 18, 2019

The Blast and Radar heard from sources who say that it’s true about Brit Brit not taking her meds as prescribed, but it’s false that she’s being held against her will in a mental hospital like Halle Berry in Gothika, or some shit. Radar says that Brit went in for treatment on her own, but The Blast claims that’s not completely true.
The Blast also says that the team of lawyers and doctors who have been helping her over the years changed recently, and her meds situation was a mess. When she did take her meds, she took the wrong amount. On top of that, The Blast says Daddy Spears gave her more and more freedom, which led to shit getting so bad that she “could’ve died.
So Daddy Spears made the decision to put her in a treatment center, and used his ills as a public excuse.

We’re told it’s unclear when Spears will be released from treatment, and although she is “not being held against her will,” she was not fully on board with checking herself in when it was initially discussed.
For now, we’re told professionals at the treatment center are “observing” her, and based on her behavior and testing will be able to prescribe a “cocktail of medications” to properly stabilize the singer and allow her to safely be released.
Our sources say the most important thing to Spears’ family and her entire team is that the singer gets the help she needs and is able to function as a normal person once she leaves treatment.
Ever since this #FreeBritney shit started, my brain has pooted out a zillion questions like:

    1. Does Brit’s treatment center have a built-in Starbucks?!
    2. How soon will that paralegal start a GoFundMe to pay for the lawyers he’ll need to hire when his old law firm easily identifies him (since Britney’s Gram played his voicemail) and goest after his ass?
    3. How soon will Britney’s Gram start a GoFundMe to pay for the lawyers they’ll need when Daddy Spears goes after their asses?
    4. Did Daddy Spears’ colon really rupture or has he been feeding us Kraft grits and telling us it’s Velveeta grits?!
    5. Does all this talk about 2007 mean that Adnan Ghalib is going to slither out from the rock he’s been living under to gather some coins for interviews

given how many enablers Britney has in her staff and family, being treated at home is the worst idea possible for her.

Well this is getting interesting. Hopefully her old man will be around for awhile because whether she (or mom) like it or not, someone in charge of her right down to micromanaging seemed to be the only thing working.

Too bad he wasn't this involved during her formative years when Lynne was whoring her out.

There has to be more than just the bipolar diagnosis. It doesn't make sense otherwise. She's not allowed to drive?

Bipolar has degrees. Severe bipolar can be basically similar to a schizoaffective disorder (which is basically schizophrenia light) or even almost like schizophrenia. I have a cousin whose official diagnosis is severe bipolar and she has to be managed and can’t handle even small amounts of stress or lots of responsibility and it’s a constant battle to keep her on her meds and away from really shitty men and her poor kids fed and in school.

Poor Brit, she should have been left alone, live in a ranch with her family, never work again ,enjoy her fortune and live stress free and happily ever after. But she had to stuff herself with drugs to be able to stand up and perform and feed all her useless family..Poor child..

Not a treatment center, per se, but the hospital near me has a Starbucks in it so it's not that weird, really. They probably don't let her have caffeine if she's this bad off and they're monitoring her meds because caffeine will throw everything off. I mean, yes, there is decaf coffee I suppose, but what is the point?

Not quite. Poor girl is my age. It started in her teens. 3 kids, her baby daddy is also not quite all there. There’s a lot of drama. My uncle’s family do the best they can but I don’t think those poor kids stand a chance.

How horrible Sput - I think I have said before that my ex’s last partner was diagnosed with BP after miscarriaging at 6-7 month. One or two of the things he has told me we’re horrible, truly awful.
It’s nothing to make fun of as much as we enjoy public misfortunes (mental health issues withstanding).
