Brandi has the same ass as the rich old man that Samantha almost had sex with in Sex and the City.

well, based on that logic - Brandi should be writing more "books", designing more "clothing lines" and all the other shit and shouldn't require ANY support.

I guess you're just saying that becayou don't like Brandi.

Would that be your response if we were not talking about this trio of losers?

That's like saying if my DH lost his mind, I kick him out, he's ordered to pay CS, but then quits his job where he was earning $1,000,000 a year and takes a job earning $75,000. This would force me to get a job, after being a SAHM (not the worst thing in the world). He has the potential to continue to earn the higher income, but just wants to make sure I only get a paltry sum for CS every month.

That's as bad as the judge who decided that a mother would lose primary custody of her children because she now had to work to support herself and her children since her divorce. He gave primary custody to the father because their stepmother could afford to be a SAHM.

    Twisted logic.

no. i'm basing it on your logic. the logic seems to be "earning potential". they both have earning potential - and frankly, whether I like her or not - brandi seems to be leading the pack in that arena, yes? whether we like it or not, child support isn't usually based on "potential", it's based on "actual earnings".
    It's like that old joke:
A teenager comes home from school with a writing assignment. He
asks his father for help. "Dad, can you tell me the difference between
    potential and reality?"

His father looks up, thoughtfully, and then says, "I'll display it to
you. Go ask your Mother if she would sleep with Robert Redford for a
million dollars. Then go ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad
Pitt for a million dollars. Then come back and tell me what you've
    learned."

The kid is puzzled, but he decides to see if he can figure out what
his father means. He asks his mother, "Mom, if someone gave you a
million dollars, would you sleep with Robert Redford?" His mother looks
around slyly, and then with a little smile on her face says, "Don't tell
your father, but, yes, I would."

Then he goes to his sisters room and asks her, "Sis, if someone gave

you a million dollars, would you sleep with Brad Pitt?" His sister
looks up and says, "Omigod! Definitely!"

The kid goes back to his father and says, "Dad, I think I've figured
it out. Potentially, we are sitting on two million bucks, but in
reality, we are living with a couple of whores."
    Kill him.
    Kill her.

I am not just talking theory here. If Halle decided to stop working, does that mean the CS payments to her daughter's father should stop?

Of course at this point who knows what E can actually earn. He's not a great actor, seems to come with a high level of crazy, jealous barnacle of a wife (based on various blinds posted), and his hotness level has taken a serious dive. I am sure that he never turned down a great job (like they portrayed in their show), but if he is actually refusing to work, or even go out to audition, that should count against him.

Even if he only earns scale - in Atlanta, that's $650 an hour. Not a bad paycheck.

It would be funny if Brandi tried to use the reality show to prove that Ed was turning down work, and he was forced to admit that the offer of a role on Dallas was fake.

I'm going to jump in to say I have spent a lot of time in family court doing court order mediation, and have seen judges order people to find work, or a better job. I have seen it on both sides - SAHM being told her part time job as a crossing guard won't cut it since she had a degree and had not tried to find a full time job stating he should have to pay more support, and men who have made moves to cut their income so they would pay less, being told they have 3 months to get better employment again. Judges are pretty good at knowing when one party is purposely limiting their income so they can reduce support.

i don't work in the system like sluce but will say i personally only know of a few situations where the judged ordered the parent to find work or a better job. so my knowledge is NOT based on a random sample. but some of you need to realize that in california, child support is based on an algorithm. there are deviations in some cases, like for the super wealthy (like barry diller wealthy). the cibrians would not fall into this category.

Personally I fully support any ruling that says a parent should improve their work situation in order to fully meet their financial obligations if it is shown that the parent in question is ducking work or deliberately staying in a low paid field to avoid reasonable payments. They may be doing it out of spite against the ex but the reality is that they are hurting their children. My sperm donor quit work as soon as he was ordered to pay support and back in those days there was little the Courts could or were inclined to do.

If Eddie can be shown to be turning down paying work then he should get bitchslapped by the Courts too.

I'm not sure how relevant this is but there was someone in my extended family who refused to collect his retirement (for years) because his ex wife would get part of it. People do all kinds of creatively vindictive things.

Brandi Glanville looks like she's overdone it on the fillers and Botox | Daily Mail Online

Face it Brandi, you've overdone it on the fillers: Botox fan Glanville steps out in NYC with an extremely taut visage
    By MailOnline Reporter
    Published: 12:35 EST, 10 December 2014 | Updated: 12:35 EST, 10 December 2014

She has previously admitted to having 'overdone it' with 'bad Botox', 'bad fillers', and even given herself a 'liquid nose job'.

But by the looks of Brandi Glanville, 42, it seems that the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star still hasn't learnt her lesson.

The reality star was seen stepping out in New York on Tuesday looking unrealistically taut in the facial area.

What HAS she done now? Brandi Glanville, 42, - who admits to having Botox and fillers - was seen in New York on Wednesday looking suspiciously taut in the facial area

Wearing a stylish monochrome outfit as she left Big Morning Buzz Life studios, Brandi's ensemble was overshadowed by her suspiciously fresh new looks.

Radar reported in February that Brandi had said of her surgeries: 'I've had my boobs done and my vagina tightened... and I've had some bad Botox and bad fillers. That's f***ing it.'

'I admit I've overdone it at times, but mama is f****ing 41,' she ranted.

Nice outfit: Brandi wore a stylish monochrome outfit as she left Big Morning Buzz Life studios, but it was overshadowed by her fresh new face

Brandi also admitted in a different interview that she underwent a 'liquid nose job' spending $30,000 on the surgery (that requires a regular top up) back in 2009.

She told Life&Style magazine: 'I got a liquid nose job after I broke it. A doctor has to replace the fillers in it periodically.'

Brandi also admitted to having fillers, saying: 'I've been getting injections since I was 25'.

What HASN'T she had done? Brandi (left, in 2000, and right, last week) has admitted to having a liquid nose job as well as fillers and Botox sessions regularly

Time to face facts? It might have been cold in New York, but Brandi now appears to be frozen in time

'I had Botox back in 2002. I prefer movement in my face. That's why I only do Botox twice a year now.'

She adds: 'I have that hollow area (in cheeks) injected with fillers. And I have acne scars filled sometimes.'

She also underwent a $12,000 'vaginal rejuvenation' and boob job following the birth of her two children Mason and Jake. (She opted for a B-cup because she didn't want 'porn-style' implants.)
The single mother, who has previously complained about struggling to pay her rent, estimates she's spent more than $30,000 on plastic and cosmetic surgery over the years.

Past love: Brandi appears fresh faced in 1998 with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian... but claims she's been having injections since she was 25

Face value: Brandi is very much an open book when it comes to what surgery she has had done

Changing faces: Brandi has blamed some of her insecurities on the breakdown of her marriage to Eddie Cibrian (pictured together here in 2001)
