When will these women learn that extensive plastic surgery doesn't make you look younger? It makes you look like someone whose face is melting. The skin always looks so unnatural and dimpled or something. It's not smooth looking. It looks like a pothole filled road covered with a fresh layer of asphalt. It doesn't look right.

I think it's part narcissism and part manipulation. They see women who age so well and can't accept that it isn't a level playing field. They reject the truth that some women are just naturally more beautiful and assume any attractive woman over forty must have had work done. It's easier to believe that everyone has a shot at being gorgeous with a little nip and tuck, than it is to resign yourself to the fate of genetics.

It's the same idea encouraged by the cosmetic industry, only it's magnified in Hollywood. Doctors manipulate women into thinking the right procedure will give them Christie Brinkley-like youthfulness, that a face is only as great as the surgeon who worked on it. And all the Brandi Glanvilles and Taylor Armstrongs of the world just need better doctors.

What I always find ironic is the ability to convince someone whose looks were ravaged by surgery that the only chance for improval lies in another round with the scalpel. Like Bruce Jenner or Tara Reid, for example, I predict Brandi will keep screwing with her face in a vain attempt to undo the damage from screwing with it in the first place. She's already more Jocelyn Wildenstein than Christie Brinkley as it is.

^ Yep, no one can be Christie Brinkley now if they were never Christie Brinkley to begin with.

Instead of aging gracefully, most of them just end up looking like caricatures of their old selves.

Exactly. The hard part is recognizing that you weren't a supermodel in the first place. Especially in Brandi's case.

if you eat healthy, exercise, take the right supplements and don't smoke or overdo it with alcohol, you'll look young and age gracefully. i'm 31 and am carded every time i buy alcohol or lottery tickets. people always freak out when they see 1982 on my license. they say they assumed i was a 17. they ask me how i look so young. i just tell them eat a lot of raw vegetables, no sugar, and work out a lot. sweat a lot. and be positive.

she wants to live there, she wants to date those guys, she wants to be competing over status and who's got the best body, richest boyfriend, or hottest couture clothes.
otherwise she'd be living quietly somewhere rural, taking care of her boys and ageing gracefully.
Yeah, coz everyone that lives in the countryside runs around looking like a haystack wearing rags etc etc etc.
Seriously, what s ridiculously stupid statement.

Oh, I see its not outside the normal.
Next I'll be reading that cancer is all one's own fault, because genes have nothing to do with any of this at all. None. Whatsoever.

I think one can age gracefully if they do all those things and biggest of all, stay out of sun or very diligent with sunscreen. Genetics play a part of course, but doing the things Shiloh listed will help one to look younger. But genetics do come in play.

Brandi is cursed with ugly hands and they look older than she is. She tried burning the skin off them lol but it didn't help. She really puts lots of filler in her cheeks. I think she lies when she says no filler in lips.

eta Lisa Vanderpump flat out denied the truth cannons podcast comments. Lisa tweeted they never filed for bankruptcy or lived in Calabassas. I believe Lisa.

Living somewhere rural will not help you age gracefully.

Aging gracefully is accepting the aging process, and that can be done anywhere, the city, suburbs, the jungle, the desert...even in LA.

Well, apparently everyone wants to ship unpopular "celebrities" off to "somewhere rural", but I have to ask why the fuck do you think that we would want them?

Novice, do you have some personal fucking vendetta against me? you sound really miserable. maybe you're old and haggish? whatever. go fuck yourself.
and fyi i never said living somewhere rural will make you age gracefully. i used the word AND, you moron. if she didn't want all the outlandish things and celebrity lifestyle, she'd live somewhere far away from it, and AGE GRACEFULLY i.e. not get shit tons of plastic surgery to keep up with the Jones's in Hollywood.
