I don't care for Brandi but I LOLed at her shade / mind games in the story on the bottom left.

She's such a bitch. She states her kids like Leann and she hopes Le and Eddie stay together. Then she makes these statements clearly meant to upset Leann and cause more drama in the house where her kids spend half their time. She's a terrible mother.

    Again, JMO.

    You are right. Apologies everyone.

That's pretty funny! I remember when the L and E affair rumors started and they both denied, denied, denied. It will make Leann a nervous wreck when a real rumor that Eddie is cheating hits the media and he denies it. I don't think there is any truth to this Baby Daddy costar affair rumor. Yet.

Leann is probably nervous he will leave her for the young hot Chelsea Kane but he has a better shot with Melissa Peterman (who I adore).

She was booked to play in Buffalo/Niagra Falls in early January, I don't think that she or her management would even take that booking if it was a normal paying gig with a penalty clause. In this case, I think the incentive is more positive, show up and we'll pay you a lot of money.
If she's not a big get why would someone (anyone) pay her a lot of money?

Personally, I think her management would accept any half way decent booking cuz girlfriend needs to earn and also try to secure some kind of record deal. That's not a sign of Leanne's dedication to her career but her management team's attempt to keep her sagging career afloat. They might very well accept a penalty clause on a rather ordinary booking because that might be all they can get for this inconsistent c lister who gives tepid performances to dwindling crowds.

She already pulled the sick card on that show tonight.

Now that she's no longer with Iconic Entertainment, who is she with? I'm curious if they dropped her or if she left them because she didn't want to take their advice.

ETA: I saw that tweet about her having laryngitis and the show being cut short:

Even the mega talented #LeannRimes gets laryngitis. #ShowCutShort#FeelBetter

She only does 50 minutes at most. So those poor people drove through bad weather to listen to her for what, 30 minutes or something probably? AND listen to her complain about being sick. FFS.

So I will have to assume eddie didn't make the trip? And she'll be on a flight back first thing tomorrow morning? What a fucking hack.

And of course she's "sick". Wonder if anyone paid for the meet and greet garbage she's selling for this one. It's a good thing she gets a full week off before her last 2 scheduled gigs for 2015 are supposed to happen.

I saw someone say she got off stage right about when filming was starting. I don't know how they got that, unless they saw some tweet from one of the people on the show mentioning "it's show time" type thing.

LeAnn Rimes has her moments in a show cut short by laryngitis

By Matt Chandler Ľ Friday, January 9th, 2015 11:34 PM
As the lights went down and the four-piece band struck its first chords, two-time Grammy-winner LeAnn Rimes strolled to the microphone and quickly reminded the near-capacity crowd at the Events Center inside the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel why she has sold more than 37 million albums over the last two decades.

As she launched into “Nothing Better to Do,” the country darling, who in recent years has been known more for being a fixture on the tabloids than on the country music charts, showed she still has the pipes that made millions fall in love with her.

From the opening song, it was clear Rimes loves to be on stage connecting with her fans, telling the crowd, “You’re all in my really big living room tonight, so let’s have some fun!”

And fun she had, at least while her voice held up. The fans may have cheered the loudest when she launched into one of her earlier hits, “I Need You,” but in terms of truly showcasing her rich, hauntingly beautiful voice, the song of the night was “Probably Wouldn’t Be This Way,” from her 2005 album “This Woman.” Close your eyes and soak in four minutes of Rimes breathing life into this song, and you’ll be hard-pressed to argue there is a better female voice in country music.

Alas, it was a bit too good to be true. Just six songs into her set, barely 30 minutes into the show, Rimes complained of laryngitis, a condition she blamed equally on the Western New York weather and her husband Eddie. [Tha fuck?]

Promising to push on, Rimes and her band adjusted the playlist on the fly, eliminating songs now out of her range. To her credit, if what she delivered over the next half dozen songs was LeAnn Rimes at 75 percent, it was enough to blow the doors off of most artists on their best days.

A series of acoustic covers gave her a chance to back off on the accelerator and prolong her voice, and fortunately, she had enough left in her vocal cords to deliver the must-have songs of any Rimes concert – “Blue”, her breakout hit recorded for her 1996 album of the same name, and “How Do I Live,” a song that charted for 69 consecutive weeks.

It may have been to compensate for struggling to sing as her voice faltered, or it may be her style, but Rimes seemed to get sidetracked throughout the show, having random conversations with fans in the front. While it may have been a dream come true for Paul, who she singled out to discuss how he came to be at the show, for the 2,000-plus other people in the crowd, it became, at times, awkward.

Kudos for not being a robot on stage and just going through the motions, but Rimes’ need to continually remove her earplugs and respond to every fan who shouted to her – a reaction that only encouraged the behavior – began to take away from the music.

But in the end, it was the laryngitis that took it away, leading to a show that fell 60 ticks short of making it to an hour. With her voice failing, and her storytelling only able to carry the evening for so long, Rimes wished a belated “Happy Birthday” to Elvis Presley before launching into her most spirited effort of the evening, a funky, up-tempo version of “Jailhouse Rock,” before disappearing into the night.

While there can be no doubt that Rimes still has the “it” that made her a superstar in country music before she could drive a car, it would be nice to see her return to Western New York when she is healthy and able to put on a full, uninterrupted show. But for Friday night, her best was still awfully good.
