I think what happened is Ediot picked a show--one he considers classy--to say they "offered" him a role and he turned it down. And he thinks this makes him look good, turning down work? What a delusional piece of crap. He's more stupid than LeAnn.

I was thinking the same thing. Problem is, they are so far off the radar, that the people working on Dallas have no idea that they were even mentioned.

My favorite comment, so far, under the Daily Mail article. LOL

I wonder what would happen if he went back to Court to try and get his child support reduced again with this clip stating that he (allegedly) turns down months of steady work...

And why is this different to when LeAnn went all out to follow him to Chicago to dog his cheating heels because he was filming The Playboy Club? There didn't seem a problem with putting the boys on planes to come visit then, which makes me think there was no Dallas role to begin with.

^I agree. I wish someone from Dallas would speak out and say he had been invited to audition but that was all.

I don't think he was invited. Maybe his agent told him there was a part he should audition for, but Eddie's too lazy to go for an audition. But saying he turned it down makes him look STOOPID.

That would be pretty ballsy to throw out the Dallas role like that if it's totally made up. But again, this makes them look so dumb. Celebrities travel and work on location all the time. Many are married with kids. She does a few shows a month. This is all doable and they are not megastars juggling a ton of projects. It has nothing to do with time, and all to do with Leann wanting a pet that follows her to all her shows and holds her hand and bonus: she can watch him like a hawk at all times.

This confusion they've created by stating it's scripted but not scripted but dramatized is perfect for her 'special' fans. They are lapping all this up and treating it like it is absolute fact and real-time. So easily manipulated. IIRC, the casting call for the crowd at the cowboy bar is back in the thread somewhere.

Oh, and I seriously need for her to shut the fuck up about being Southern and what that means.

Then it would be pretty much like everything else in their "truth".

OMG Leann. Call a fucking family meeting and once and for all agree on what you and Eddie will say in interviews about whether the show is scripted or not.

Star Magazine (from Celebitchy): LeAnn on why they’re doing the show: “I think what people want to see is the way we interact with each other, and that’s the honesty of the show. There is nothing scripted. We want people to get a whole different side of us and to laugh.”

She said it was scripted. She called it a scripality show. She's not even a good liar.

Pfffft. It's all scripted. This little "Dallas" drama is nothing more than them addressing their critics (and his ex-wife *cough*) who say he's a lazy mooch. See folks, Eddie has all kinds of offers, but he's such a devoted family man he couldn't possibly take an out-of-town job! Whatta wonderful guy he is.

He doesn't want to work and she sure as hell doesn't want him to work. Any supportive wife would have told him to jump at this chance, considering he hasn't had any steady series jobs for 3-4 years. 7 months isn't an eternity. The kids would survive and he would've been home for their summer break. But as long as she keeps him dependent on her (and her money) the longer he will stick around. She doesn't give a damn about his career.

^^Isn't Jesse Metcalfe the "star" on Dallas? I think they've already got any role Eddie could have played (mind you as himself 10 years ago) covered.

I believe 50% of the tabloid pics are at an airport. They clearly have no issue leaving the kids. Which whatever! The real issue is how she got him. No set life for the E-Man if she has a say. (Besides, if the show is proving to be an audition for him, yikes!)
