But aside from that, I believe Eddie is snipped and they are just scrambling for another story line.

Even if Eddie is snipped, which he probably is, they can still go in there and get the swimmers with the help of fertility doctors and IVF. It's a bit involved, and I imagine he doesn't want them poking around down there too much, so unless HE really wants kids, it ain't happening.

So circling back, if Eddie and LeAnn agreed to have children before they got married, I can't see Eddie totally reneging on the deal, but I can see him wanting to keep things status quo for the time being - my perception is that Eddie enjoys his current life as Mr. LeAnn Rimes where his main jobs are being a roadie when LeAnn "tours" and filming a reality show.

Of course that assumes that Eddie told the truth... He a sleaze, a liar and a cheat and was out on his ear. I can see him saying anything that sounded good to make sure his booby prize signed on the dotted line.

You know, you're kind of right - for all their clutching and pawing and grasping, they somehow seem very asexual. Not that I try very hard, but I can't really imagine them fucking in such a way that either they or anyone who happened to be watching them would get any enjoyment out of it.

Kind of like putting together IKEA furniture - insert plug A into opening F, use Allen wrench to turn, etc, etc. Sexy.
