It sounds like a clothing name or an exclusive place somewhere anyway.

It just sounds right. Way to go, your daughter sounds like a VIP lounge.

Wow. I didn't get one after giving birth but had one from my tummy tuck. I HATED it. It left me with little sores where it rubbed at the hip bone area but it did keep me tight.

Aye, the little guy is 14 months now. The belly has definitely gone down a bit, but it's still poochy. I've been strengthening my abs but am worried about the loose skin.

After I gave birth to my son, my belly was like a mass of spongy deflated bread dough. Ab work definitely helps. The pooch does go away eventually.

^^^ tati, give it more time. you are a young thing so should spring back. i was mostly intact by ~9 months but some puffiness continued to diminish slowly after that. planks helped. the only puff i have left is a bit below my scar and it is pretty minimal and it doesn't show through clothing at all. just be patient. i swore i would need a tummy tuck but it all worked out.

I had the excess skin removed and muscle tightening after losing 150 lbs. They took off 7lbs of skin. It was crazy and I had staples about 3/4 the way around my body since it was a lower body lift, not just a tummy tuck. I had the mons pubis (muff tuck) at the same time. Lots of fun!

Is there a limit to how much they can take off when they do it?

I don't know. I had a person in my support group who started at over 700 lbs. They did a surgery and he lost more than 200 lbs. They removed more than 30 lbs of skin then and did the next level of gastric bypass. He lost another 250 and they removed more skin.

The Washington Post reports that on January 26, the new parents applied for a U.S Patent and Trademark Office to “protect” their baby’s name “for future baby line items” including strollers, diaper bags and other such baby items.

Ironically, they are not the first to want to put a patent on the baby’s name. According to the site, Fashion Designer Joseph Mbeh also submitted a patent to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC.” And, on January 20, another submission to patent “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” was both filed and denied by the office stating that it belonged to a “very famous infant.”

Another source notes that in Wisconsin, a company known as “The Blue Ivy Company” was already established in 2011, prior to the announcement of Jay Z and Beyonce’s little one’s arrival. The problem, the company will not stand a chance if it wants to start selling its own clothing line.

The patent is estimated to take anywhere from four to six months for approval. It’s obviously a smart decision that the pair got on ball before anyone else could pull a fast one on the power couple.

What do you think about Beyonce and Jay Z patenting their daughters name?

If it wasn't obvious enough they were hatching a little human mannequin to peddle shitty, overpriced baby clothes & accessories, it sure is now. If there wasn't a little baby involved, I'd be rooting for someone to pull a Spreading Santorum on their precious name.

    I know, right?

And I bet Tina will be designing the tacky baby schmattas too.
