You are very naive if you think publications would not print photos snapped in the hospital.

Then tell me about an unauthorized photo of a celebrity patient from inside a hospital, and name one tabloid that has ever been published a pic from a hospital security camera. Contrary to the lawless images people have of the tabloids, they're very careful. The National Enquirer probably has a better vetting process than the NY Times.

I thought that if she was really pregnant we'd have seen some semi-nude baby bumps photos by now considering how she usually loves to show everything off. She's been oddly quiet during the past few months.

It wasn't the way she was walking, but how easily she got into the car that struck me.

What struck me was the way she was holding the edges of her jacket out and in front of her, not like she was covering something naturally there, but like she didn't want the jacket to fall naturally against her. Like how you'd hold a jacket away from your body if you spilled something on your blouse so the jacket didn't touch the stain.

A Brooklyn man claims increased security at Lenox Hill hospital because the presence of Beyonce and Jay-Z kept him from seeing his prematurely born twins ... this according to a report.

Neil Coulon tells the NY Daily News he has been repeatedly kept out of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) by the couple's security. He also claims his relatives were booted out of the waiting room by bodyguards wearing headsets.

He tells the paper, "Three times they stopped me from entering or exiting the NICU and it happened once on Friday -- just because they wanted to use the hallway."

I thought NICU's were always on a separate floor from where the mom's give birth....

Why would they be? The hospital I gave birth at only had 4 floors total, and NICU was right down the hall from Labour and Delivery (not in the US, granted).

At Mercy Medical here the mom's give birth on the 6th floor and the baby is taken to the nursery on the 5th.. That's where they keep the NICU and the mom's who gave birth..
Its like that at another hospital here in Baltimore... labor and delivery on one floor and mother and baby on another..

I hate that hospitals cater to celebrities like this at the expense of the convenience of others who have every right to be at the same facility at the same time. You want privacy? Have a home birth or build a hospital on your own spacious grounds. I guess the revenue is just too good to pass up.
