EXCLUSIVE - Lindsay's desperate cry for help


It’s a shocking side of actress Lindsay Lohan we’ve never heard or seen before -- three minutes of a recorded audio tape revealing her heart-wrenching and desperate plea for help.

The tape, obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, is the first of several which were recorded from phone calls Lindsay and her mom Dina made to Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan.

The tape reveals a tortured and inconsolable Lindsay. At times she wails and sobs uncontrollably--- at others, she whimpers like a child as she complains about problems with her family and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

“Mommy says that I’m worse than you were,” Lindsay can be heard crying to her dad. “And she’s defending…She doesn’t back me…she doesn’t stand by me.”

Lindsay continues, “No one cares about me. They don’t, by the way. It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been about me, unless I fight for it.”

LOS ANGELES - Michael Lohan tells Access Hollywood in a new interview that his objective is to get his daughter Lindsay into rehab. That’s why he recorded their phone conversations and that’s why he played Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush the tapes.

Michael claims at least one of the tapes he played Bush is from “when she got robbed.”

Lindsay called her father, crying hysterically after her Hollywood Hills home was burglarized in August 2009.

“Lindsay’s distraught, she’s an absolute mess, she’s hysterical. I mean, it’s just — this is a kid in real danger,” Bush said after hearing one message. “Michael… How concerned are you?”

“I’m here,” Michael said. “I’ve been doing what I’m doing against everyone’s will and getting slammed for it, but you hear what’s going on yourself. You can see why I’m so concerned. I’m literally shaking right now and can’t do it anymore. I can’t.”

The story behind the tapes, which Access Hollywood did not play on air on Wednesday, is riveting itself.

The burglary phone conversation is just one of many as Lindsay’s father continues his fight to get her in rehab, insisting she’s hooked on prescription drugs. Some are so emotional and so powerful that Michael couldn’t listen to them again and had to leave the room during the interview with Bush.

“Why is it that people are going to have a hard time or having a hard time with you delivering this message and the way you are at it?” Bush asked.

“Well, let’s put it this way: First, I tried to do it the right way… Privately, I tried to deal with Lindsay, I tried to deal with Dina. I came out here [to Los Angeles] when she got robbed and I’m sure you’ll hear part of that. And when I saw her myself, when I saw what was happening, I realized what was going on. I realized how bad it was.”

Michael says his goal is to get Lindsay back into rehab. Two years ago, she sought treatment at the Cirque Lodge in Utah.

Michael played Bush the tape of their phone conversation while Lindsay was allegedly at Cirque Lodge, to drive home his point.

A sobbing Lindsay sounded as if she had enough and wanted to leave when she called her father from rehab in 2007 at the Cirque Lodge in Utah.

“It sounds [as if] I’m listening to her trying to get out of rehab, you know, trying to get out from these… She hadn’t hit rock bottom yet, so she’s trying to get out of these constraints,” Bush said.

“Yeah, of course,” Michael said. “She doesn’t want to conform.”

Prescription drug problem
Lindsay was ordered to attend 30 days in a residential rehab clinic and 18 months in an alcohol education program after two DUI convictions in 2007.

Michael claims it was at Cirque Lodge that Lindsay’s addiction to prescription drugs began.

“They started her on them at Cirque?” Bush asked.

“Yeah. When they went to Cirque, they… You should have [seen], every time I took her out they gave her a bag of prescription medication that she had to take,” Michael claimed.

Lindsay remained at Cirque for 63 days.

The Cirque Lodge tells Access they are a “substance abuse treatment facility and we treat people for narcotic abuse. We don’t put people on narcotics.”

Michael claims his current efforts to get Lindsay back into rehab have failed and he’s considering trying to take control of Lindsay’s life through a legal conservatorship, similar to what Jamie Spears did for his daughter Britney.

“Britney Spears’ family had to come together. Mom and dad are separate [but] they had to come together, they had to commit her into a psych ward, they had to take her away from her children, but the difference is… her father laid very low during this process. He went in himself and quiet… and laid low,” Bush said.

“You’re missing the point, Bill,” Michael said. “With all due respect, I’ve been trying to do that. I’ve been trying to get Dina to do that.”

Lindsay’s attorney tells Access that Lindsay considers what Michael is saying to be defamatory. Her attorney also says Lindsay is in the court ordered alcohol program and doing well.

I do agree with you that secrets are bad...but this is becoming a big media circus. I hope it helps Lindsay...only time will tell.

In an explosive recorded audio conversation obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Dina Lohan reveals her anguish over a failed attempt to get her daughter Lindsay Lohan into rehab and what she calls the "mess" that resulted from trying to give her an intervention.

The taped phone call, made in September of 2008, is between Dina and Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan.

Michael Lohan has publically claimed his concern for Lindsay's life and that she has an addiction to prescription pills and that ex-wife Dina is lying about his intentions to the press.

On Wednesday, RadarOnline.com released a heart wrenching audio tape of a distraught and hysterical Lindsay, sobbing to her father about her life. The recording sparked immediate controversy about why Lohan would publically disclose something so private about his daughter.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Lohan says he only released the personal audio tapes because he's afraid for his daughter's life, and he's tired of being targeted as the bad guy.

"I admit, I'm being a bit selfish in releasing the tapes," he told us. "But I'm tired of being lied about. I'm tired of Dina and others making me out to be someone I'm not, so now I'm going to prove to the world who the real liars are."

In another explosive recorded audio tape obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Lindsay Lohan's assistant Jenni Muro reveals her fear that Lindsay was killing herself.

The taped phone call is between Jenni Muro and Michael Lohan. In it, Jenni angrily tells Michael her fears about Lindsay's fragile state and expresses her opinion about the destructiveness of Lindsay's then-romantic relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.

"I am trying to save your daughter's life every day," Jenni tells Michael on the tape.

Showing the depths of her fear that Lindsay will harm herself, Jenni tells Michael that she wants to stop working for Lindsay "because I don't want it on my watch either."

Michael has publicly voiced his concerns for Lindsay's life, and says he is trying to get her to admit that she has a prescription drug problem and get help before it is too late.

In the 2008 call placed from Brooklyn to Michael Lohan's Long Island home, Muro also voices her disgust that she was forced to relocate to New York for Lindsay's role on Ugly Betty.

Muro says: "I get a 5% commission on this entire TV show and it's sick and disgusting and I'm here and I give up my boyfriend and my dog and my parents and my new place in LA and everything so that your daughter doesn't kill herself, ok?"

Jenni also tells Michael that Lindsay's relationship with Samantha Ronson was "unhealthy." She said that Lindsay's priorities were only Samantha, not work and not her family. She says Samantha was her "absolute addiction."

The Lohan family feud exploded publicly again last week, with Lindsay reacting to her father's actions by attacking him on her Twitter account.

This tape is really sad- you can listen to it at the source. Its also telling how LIndsay's career is falling apart. Her assistant says 'I can't even set up work stuff." And "She is another mess. She is no better than she was two years ago and she knows that Michael. If Laura and I weren't around right now, we would be in really grave danger."

Later in the tape she says "She doesn't want to do a 2-hour fitting for her next $300k. She doesn't even want to do that. Her priorities are not work. Her priorities are not family. Her priority is Samantha. It is unfortunate, I don't agree with it, and its an unhealthy relationship because I don't think she ever knew love before and I think this is what she thinks is love. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, I don't know but all I know is that it is absolutely her addiction right now."
