Newlyweds Ashlee and Pete Wentz confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," they wrote on the site friendsorenemies.com. It's a personal desicion. If you want to, then do it.
Personally, I would take my husband's name. But in my case, my boyfriend's name rhymes with my first name so... I really don't know

What an idiot. I think it's an old and ridiculous tradition but that's because here in Italy women don't change their names when they marry and I don't get why they should.

I took mr. butt's name but kind of regret it. I liked my maiden name and it worked better with my first name. I may change it back at some point.

Maybe 50 years ago, and in the South of Italy it may be still happening, but I don't know anyone from my area that has legally changed their surname.

Really! Because it's so normal for us to have a family-name. Of course there are woman that keeps their maiden name, but it's more an ecxeption.
Many Italians and Spainards live here and of course when they marry here, they have "our rules" so that's maybe the reason why I never thought that this could be different in Italy itself :-)
My boyfriend grew up in Salerno.
