I read the symptoms she allegedly has, and thought she was just being whiney about being pregnant with two instead of one.
I dunno.

Gestational diabetes CAN be treated with diet and exercise, but it may also require insulin. i had gestational with my daughter, and was lucky to control it with diet, but had to check my sugar all the time, and if it was high, or out of control, it was off to insulin i went. i even had to go to a training class.
AND diabetes2 was my gift to keep after having my daughter.
and 'curable' is NOT a good way to put gestational diabetes. ugh, so many bad ways to describe it.

If Brangelina hasn't even confirmed a pregnancy, why is everyone so sure it's twins? Because the media says so? How do they know anything?
It's possible that she is just further along than people think.
my husband had terrible diabetes type 2 for years but it was obviously not gestational diabetes ( if it was then he should go into all the medical books lol ) so my question is..... does gestational diabetes go away after giving birth or does the woman have it forever?

Some of my friends had gestational diabetes and it went away once they gave birth. However, I have read that women who get it are more likely to get type 2 diabetes later in life.
I know someone who developed some form of diabetes while she was pregnant but was okay after the baby was born. It was a high risk pregnancy and she had other complications.

I had gestational diabetes with my first child. I had to test my blood three times a day, but was fortunate that I could control it through my diet. It went away after I gave birth. I didn't have it with my other two children. The person who said that you are at higher risk of getting type 2 diabetes is right, that is what my OBGYN told me too.
She is going to have to lay off the booze, and make sure her smack isn't cut with sugar.
My my, didn't we all just dip our tongues in some acid today.
if this is true and not some rumor then I wish her well and hope it goes away with time.

Diabetes is an auto-immune disease and like other auto-immune diseases, women in their 30's are prone to develop them. I speak from experience.
