I can understand her using a helicopter in order to keep her privacy, but I can't justify her issuing a press release unless it wasn't her idea or there is an emergency.

Clearly there are a lot of people who do give a shit and that is why the magazines with her on the cover sell. Not everyone hates her like you do. I personally don't feel strongly about her either way. I am often shocked by how much people hate her or hate Jennifer. I find it hard to dislike someone in real life that much much less a celebrity I will never meet.

Because a helicopter is much less conspicuous than a car?

Since she's been in France, there have hardly been any pap shots of her. Seriously, I don't think the Europeans are terribly interested in what she does or where she goes. I don't see any reason why she simply couldn't have driven to the hospital.

Unless there was a medical emergency that warrented getting to the hospital asap, I think she was merely feeding her own self-importance.

Oh, yeah, I'm only saying that because I "hate" Angelina. Please. I would say that about ANY celeb holding a press conference about the birth of their baby. Press conferences are expensive, and they take up a lot of time and energy. There are other more important issues in the world. So they sell magazines and have fantards, so what? It doesn't warrant a press conference. How absurd and self-important can you get? She's such a fucking hypocrite. Even if there IS a medical emergency, it's not enough to call national attention to it. All this drama....only in Hollywood.

The doctor just said that everything normal and Jolie is in the hospital as a precaution.
