Why are people holding her responsible for the violence in the movie and not the other actors?

Damned good question! Never mind that James M. and Morgan F. actually headline the movie.

Also, the movie "Wanted" would have money with or without her. Just like the Lara Croft movies, this one had a built in fanbase since it is based off of a comic book.

Anyone associated with such a morally bankrupt piece of shite, and I include my man Morgan Freeman in this, needs to take a hard look in the mirror.

I'm not sure how I could have been more clear in what I said. ALL of the actors who associated with this movie are responsible for their choices. And I'm not talking about the violence, per se, I enjoyed the hell out of Shoot 'Em Up with Clive Owen.

You were quite clear...you've based your opinion solely on your friend's review which is fine and good. Personally, I would much rather base my opinion on the reviews of several intelligent individuals.

Having said that, I would never criticize any actor for signing on to a role without having seen the film.

^^ personally I like girl power movies, my guilty pleasure is G.I Jane with Demi Moore. SheRah!!!

It's a movie.. violence, you get about as much in a Spiderman movie and almost all the audience was tots under the age of 10. When people stop letting their tots watch cartoons, or any Harry Potter flick then I might listen to this diatribe about AJ being in a violent movie.

If it promotes violence then look out because people will be out there buying wands thinking they can fly.

tisk tisk silly silly

And the reviews that I heard panned it.... And when they reviewed Kung-Foo Panda, hardly mentioned her...

As for the Actors being in a film that glorifies violence - when you've had press conferences to bring attention to the people suffering from violence and war in Iraq and Darfur, but then make a film based around assassins guns killing people, doesn't anyone see the contradiction?

Yes, anyone can say "its just a film" however studies show a link between annorexia and the media's portrayal of excessively thin women, and also the prevalence of gun culture in films and music to an increase in violence. We 're reaping the rewards of this in the UK at the moment - in the first 6 months of this year there have been 17 teens killed (2007 was the highest so far with 26 BBC - London - Features - Teen deaths on London's streets ).
However, I don't expect facts and figures to change your opinions. Afterall, whats provable facts against what is spouted out of the month of thus couple's PR team?

The others don't work for the UN and visit refugees of war-torn countries.

I might be more receptive to peoples opinions if it were not for the fact the majority of them are just disgruntled Jennifer fans

right kenesha? The Christian on the Jennifer board comes to a Jolie board to call her a whore?

no I like Brad Pitt, I like Angelina Jolie I'm not going to change my opinions

What about the rest of us that aren't? (disgruntled Jennifer Anniston fans)
And since when was GR a "Jolie board"? If so I need to cancel my subscription.
