Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt spend £1 million on Banksy work

Brad and Angelina are hypocrites. Brad portrays himself as an environmental activist, yet he rides around in gas guzzling SUVs and flies in private jets. St. Whoregelina campaigns against world poverty, yet lives an extravagantly wasteful lifestyle. $1 million on artwork, after it just came out the two of them were spending hundreds of thousands on a hugh priced rental home in NY? How many starving children could that money have fed, Whoregelina? I hate hypocrites like her who urge ordinary Americans to sacrifice for charity while the money she's donating is practically a tax write off. I don't rate her charity work at all. She basically flies in for a photo op with refugees and does a few articles about how horrible third world poverty is while doing nothing to allieviate it and everything to improve her image and fill her empty heart.

Angelina does look like death. Her arms and legs are sticks. It's just disgusting how thin she is. She doens't even look attractive anymore with her bobblehead on an emaciated body.

They have good taste in art and it's quite the investment, too. What does buying a piece of art have to do with buying children? Colour me crazy but I just don't get the connection. I smell desperation...

I just find it a bit hypocritical that Angelina preaches about the atrocities of poverty in undeveloped countries, yet she retires to a multimillion dollar residence night after night (one of many), sends her children to $18,000-a-year private, elitist schools, buys exorbitant art, travels in private jets, and bypasses stringent adoption procedures many people struggle with everyday.

She's adopted.. no, sorry.. "saved" three children from a life of devastating poverty.. I can appreciate that-- heck, I'll even say it's noble of her. But continually rubbing it in our faces, excessively voicing her need to build her 'rainbow family,' and then Brad making ridiculous comments like "I have three kids now and next year I'll have six then nine. We're looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup".. I mean.. the motives are unclear.

I dont understand why people see her as virtuous. I understand the notion of being proud of your success and having nice things to show for it, but Angelina has always spoken out against this.

Whatever.. just how I view things. I respect and welcome any differing opinions.

Well, she's gone Hollywood, which admittedly, wasn't a long trip. She's a product of the system, and Brad became a product of the system. At least they do some good. And AJ is never boring, that is the only reason I think she is a old-style diva. I kind of like that.

One the reasons cited for Veingelina not eating was her apparent guilt at having food when others went hungry. I don't know how she can reconcile that with buying expensive art? It would make more sense to eat, at least.

Meh, screw the humanitarian angle,I fucking love Banksy, it's one of the few reasons I like living in Bristol (he's a Brizzle boy, think Vicky Pollard), as you walk along the streets there are Banksy graffitis all over the place!
