Amber Tamblyn is anything but traditional.
When the House, M.D. alum, 29, married Arrested Development actor David Cross, 48, on October 6, the barefoot bride -- who arrived via kayak! -- wore a canary yellow dress. With flowers in her hair, Tamblyn vowed to spend eternity with Cross as guests including Amy Poehler, 41, Jason Ritter, 32, and Questlove, 41, looked on. (Us Weekly exclusively confirmed their betrothal October 7.)
Other A-list attendees included Tamblyn's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Blake Lively, 25, America Ferrera, 28, and Alexis Bledel, 30. Lively -- who secretly married Ryan Reynolds, 35, in South Carolina September 9 -- brought her husband as her date.
Questlove shared a series of pictures from Tamblyn and Cross' wedding ceremony and reception via Instagram. In addition to snapshots of the bride and groom, The Roots musician also uploaded a picture of their unique dessert, a cheesecake featuring two fox cake toppers.
Yo La Tengo performed during the reception, while Questlove served as the deejay. This is the first marriage for both Tamblyn and Cross, who confirmed their engagement in August 2011.

Aw, Russ Tamblyn got really old. It sounds like a great wedding.
All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.
If I wanted the government in my womb I'd fuck a Senator
Am I missing where it says where they got married? Wherever it is looks lovely with the trees turning color and the water. And I like her yellow dress a lot.

My fav david Cross moment is when he played Elliott's brother on Just Shoot Me, and pretended he was retarded because he got special treatment from people. so he ran around singing, "chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot piiiiiee!"
So in our house, we call him Chicken Pot Pie.
RELIGION: Treat it like it's your genitalia. Don't show it off in public, and don't shove it down your children's throats.
Amber Tamblyn and David Cross welcome first child
It’s a girl for Amber Tamblyn and David Cross.
The couple announced the birth of their first child together on Tuesday when Tamblyn posted a video of their newborn daughter to Instagram.
Joking about the baby’s name, the actress wrote, “David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr.”
Reps for both Tamblyn and Cross declined to provide the baby’s actual name and additional details.
Tamblyn initially shared the news of her pregnancy in an essay she wrote for Glamour in October 2016. “Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon,” she shared in the piece about how mothers and daughters can change the way people talk about being women.
Tamblyn, 33, and Cross, 52, have been married since 2012.

That is a very weird pairing, but I love both of them and am very happy for them.
Awww, that's awesome. They seem like an odd pair but also like the same kind of weird. Which is nice. Nothing better than finding the person who really gets your weird.
Congrats on their new addition.
I'm sure we'll be seeing it in the celebrity baby sightings page here, and using words like "breathtaking" and "noble". We'll speak of character and charm.
But we'll all know what we're really saying. See ya there!
