Ireland Baldwin wants the public to know while her father may have said bad things, he is not a bad man.
The 18-year-old leapt to her father Alec's defense on Saturday night after the 30 Rock star was accused of using derogatory language and making homophobic comments.
Despite infamously being the victim of one of his verbal tirades, the young model defended the 55-year-old for reportedly verbally abusing journalists and even calling a photographer a 'c***sucking f**.
'We all say things we don't mean': Ireland Baldwin, seen here last month, jumped to her father Alec's defense on Twitter on Saturday night after the 30 Rock star was accused of using derogatory language and making homophobic comments
The model - whose mother is Kim Basinger - posted over 15 tweets about her father on Saturday.
The teen said he father has a kind heart and reacted badly thinking he was protecting his wife Hilaria and their baby, Carmen.
Showing wisdom beyond her age however, Alec's daughter did point out that it is never alright to use homophobic language.
In a few of her many tweets Ireland said: 'What my dad said was WRONG. What my dad felt WASN'T.
'My dad is far from a homophobe or a racist.
'Sometimes we let our tempers get the best of us. Tempers are like wildfires. Something or someone can easily fuel the fire.'
Saying her piece: The 18-year-old was rather prolific despite being limited by 140 characters for each posting
The up and coming model was herself the victim of one of Alec's notorious rants in 2007 when she was just 11.
During a bitter custody battle between the 30 Rock actor and his actress wife Kim, Alec became furious after a young Ireland did not call at the appointed time, leaving a blistering voicemail for his daughter branding her a 'rude thoughtless pig'.
On Saturday Ireland said her embattled father had come a long way since then.
'For someone who has battled with anger management issues, my dad has grown tremendously.
It takes a lot of strength for someone to release their anger. It takes a lot of strength and SUPPORT for someone to grow and become a.....better person. We all say things we don't mean. We all say things we can't take back.'
'Now, let's all quit acting like children. Let my dad be and let him have his room to learn and enjoy his family.'
Hot water: Alec has recently landed himself in hot water after reportedly verbally abusing numerous reporters, including journalist Linda Schmidt, and even using homophobic language against a photographer
The tweets come after Alec was caught on tape verbally abused a female reporter and TMZ reported called a photographer a 'c***sucking f**' as he was leaving his New York City apartment on Thursday.
The actor later claimed he never used the word 'f**' and had in fact said 'fat head'. He also pleaded ignorance when he was publicly taken to task for using the term 'c***sucker', saying he did not know it was a homophobic slur.
However MSNBC pulled his new talk show in response to the 55-year-old's comments, forcing the star to issue an apology.
'What I said and did this week, as I was trying to protect my family, was offensive and unacceptable. Behavior like this undermines hard-fought rights that I vigorously support. I understand 'Up Late' will be taken off the schedule for tonight and next week,' he said in a written statement posted on the MSNBC website just hours before his show was meant to air.

While Ireland used her twitter is discuss something very serious on Saturday just a few hours earlier it was a very different story with the young model showing off her new look.
While already fair haired, the 18-year-old stepped up her use of peroxide going platinum.
With white blonde hair but still tell tale dark brows of someone who is not naturally that light, the young model quickly found herself compared to a host of other famous blondes.

New look: Ireland dyed her hair platinum blonde on Saturday
After posting a number of pictures on her Instagram and Twitter of her new look, many fans started asking the stunner questions.
Responding to criticism she should dye her now statement eyebrows lighter, she wrote: 'I'm not dying my precious eyebrows white so stop commenting.'
The interest in her new look did not seem to excite the teen who responded sarcastically to one fan.

Elfin style: The model jokingly said she was from the Lord Of the Rings, comparing herself to Orlando Bloom's character Legolas
The 18-year-old wrote: '"Ireland is your hair naturally that light" yes it is because I'm a troll from Narnia or Orlando Bloom in Lord of the Rings.'
Obviously her boyfriend Slater Trout thought so too, as the champion paddle boarder put together a picture collage comparing his model love to Orlando's character Legolas, Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter - played by Tom Felton - and Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen from Game Of Thrones.
Despite her fans comments, the young model was obviously very excited by her new look, pulling her best poses to show off her ice white locks and posting them on her social networking sites, captioning one 'Blonde ambition'.

Her Tweets still make more sense than Jaden Smith's.
The brows make her look like she's imitating Cara Develigne. Those photos are just like anything you could find on my old FB feed from college girls who "model" on the side.
She looks worse now than before.
RELIGION: Treat it like it's your genitalia. Don't show it off in public, and don't shove it down your children's throats.

So THAT'S what happened to Bugdoll! She traded Mel Gibson for Alec Baldwin!
Don't tell anyone but I saw McJag drop an F-bomb once and afterwards I had to go lie down in a darkened room with some smelling salts.
