Her new album is coming out June 20th. I've heard previews of most of the tracks and its a pretty good album. Its not Jagged Little Pill, but its not all touchy-feely, tree-hugger, earth mother either.
And once again, the song I think is probably the weakest track, has been chosen as the single by her record label. Douches. You may have heard Underneath on the radio already.

I'm not a big fan of Alanis's music, but I like her, and I think she's very smart and she's very funny, too. She's too good for Ryan Reynolds. I never could understand the hype about that guy. He bugs. So does ScarJo. I think Alanis dodged a bullet.

Alanis strikes me as the type to be kind of obsessive about breakups, and delve into her music world, writing songs and being depressed for months on end. Even so, I totally love her.

i can't stand alanis. her music sucks monkey balls and she's one of those new age bitches with a touch of riot grrl that are all about 'what it means to be a woman' and all that bullshit. she probably drinks a lot of soy milk and thinks everyone wants to hear all about her emotional wellbeing.

She used to piss me off, she really did, and I think her music sucks donkey balls, but I saw a few interviews with her, and a few other guest appearance on some funny tv shows and I found myself really liking her.

Alanis sounds like someone who'd go to an AA meeting and instead of using chairs, she'd tell everyone to sit in a cross-legged position and make a circle around her so she can tell them about her feelings and philosophy about life, then sing coom ba ya afterwards so the spirit elves can bless them.
