I never bought into that media characterization of Gore. The guy I saw on the campaign trails wasn't pompous or a bore.

He's not a political animal, though. He got involved to please his daddy. It was never a good fit.

Bill and Hill have a pact with the devil or something. If they split, they immediately turn into ashes and their souls plunge into hell. It's a battle to the death, that marriage.

Oh honey i found Gore boring long before the media characterization.....

Anyway, I wonder who gets the hypocrite’s little talked about zinc mine “that has released millions of pounds of potentially toxic substances near his farmstead”.

The one I met was. Painfully boring with the limpest handshake on the planet. He literally creeped me out. I do agree about his reason for getting into politics.

    at the Clinton comment.

Al Gore needs a pink wig. Only way this makes sense.

And yes the picture of them kissing says it all.

Interesting. I just thought he was painfully shy and trying to imitate someone who loves glad handing and politics - like his dad. He's a classic lonely only child (though he had a sister 15 years old or something.) He looks around and tries to mimic the tactics other kids use to have friends or get attention. It always seems off, stilted, and cold because he's inwardly mortified.

This separation shocks me because Tipper used to be his island in the storm (no matter that she wasn't very smart.)

I did see him cutting up with his daughters once. It was incredibly cute. He was teasing them, threatening to introduce them to boys in the audience or some such, and they was screaming "No!!!" in unison.

Bill and Hill will never split because they hate their enemies more than they hate each other. Plus they lead separate lives anyway so there's no need to make it official.

Well, Al & Tipper are both as dull as watching paint dry, so unless there's a hidden scandal the divorce will be dull and uneventful.
the Gores are/were as much together as the Clintons, that is to say not at all, the only difference is Hilary won't let Bill go until her political career is over - then she'll divorce him if he hasn't died of heart problems by then.

Al Gore has to be the most boring person I have ever seen in my life time, he's better than a sleeping pill
