Kerry Katona has 'life-threatening cocaine habit'

Kerry Katona has hit back at allegations that she has been binging on so much on cocaine that it was creating a Daniella Westbrook-style hole in her nose.
The News of the World today reported that the former Atomic Kitten singer went on regular 'three-day coke binges' and that her relationship with husband Mark Croft is 'driving her to the brink of suicide'.

It quoted one of her 'worried inner circle' as saying: Kerry is completely addicted to drugs. It is worse than ever and she is close to the edge.'
But this morning the 28-year-old star hit back, with a spokesman stating: 'A News of the World article has made several extremely defamatory allegations today about Kerry Katona and drug abuse.
'These allegations are completely untrue and we will be speaking to our solicitors today about taking legal action against this story.'

Katona recently announced she was divorcing husband Mark Croft - only to get back together with him soon after



The article said the former Atomic Kitten star was developing a nose like Daniella Westbrook from taking so much cocaine


The News of the World article also featured a photograph of the star with a caption claiming her nose was showing 'tell-tale signs of massive cocaine abuse'.
It went on to claim Katona's cocaine intake shot up after an argument with Croft over money and that she later embarked on a seven-gram cocaine binge.
Katona has been married to former-taxi driver Croft since 2007 and the pair have two children.
Their marriage seemed over recently when a tearful Kerry announced they were splitting only for the couple to be seen back together kissing soon after.
