After a relaxing two-month holiday in the Caribbean, Amy Winehouse is looking healthier than she has done in years.
The skin on her face that was in such an atrocious condition before her St Lucia break is looking smooth and she's even got a couple of freckles on her nose.
If ever there was an advert for the benefits of a few vitamin D-filled rays of sunshine, then Amy was it as she went to buy some sweets near her new home in Barnet today.

The 25-year-old was the picture of ill health before her escape and if she can stay clean of drugs - and some might argue her estranged husband - she may well have turned a corner.
With her female bodyguard in tow, Amy drove to a newsagent near her plush £1.4million pad to indulge her sweet tooth.
At the height of her drug addiction last year, the Rehab singer was regularly spotted leaving her local cornershop in Camden in the middle of the night clutching bags full of sweets.
Usually she was to be seen staggering around in a semi-conscious state but it was the marks on her face that caused so much concern - at times, her face appeared to be literally falling off.

On Sunday, happily, it was a different story after some gymnastics, aerobics and horse-riding in the Caribbean.

She clearly enjoyed her time out there and despite the odd picture of her crawling across the floor and begging for drinks - with a few romantic rumours thrown in - she was generally in good spirits.

Upon her return, Amy moved from Camden, north London to a new home in Barnet, not far from where her mother Janis lives.
Her new gated property is just a few miles from Southgate, where she grew up.
Amy's parents Mitch and Janis are hoping her new life in the suburbs will keep her away from the crazy party lifestyle she led in Camden, and that no doubt contributed to her ill health.
Fans meanwhile will be hoping she starts to produce some more music of the quality that saw her burst onto the scene with Back To Black.
Her return to Britain comes just days after her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from jail.
The singer is said to want to give their marriage another try, despite the former music video assistant insisting divorce proceedings are still going ahead.
Blake was jailed in November 2007 for assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice and was sentenced to 27 months behind bars last July.

Last November, he was given permission to leave jail early on the condition he went to rehab, but was returned to custody after failing a drug test a few weeks later.
Blake walked free from Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk last Thursday and was greeted by his mother and Sophie before going to the family home in Claypole, Lincolnshire.
Speaking about his impending divorce, Blake said: 'It’s all going ahead - but I don’t really know what will happen.
'It’s just nice to be on the outside again. Now I am going to get over my drug habit.'

I'm reading an article about Eric Clapton right now and he was a junkie for a couple of decades, getting out of it via alcoholism. Some people do survive and I really hope she's one of them.

Gawd I wish she'd shitcan those stupid ass shoes! I'm tired of looking at them. Does she have a dozen pair of these same ones? Cause all the time was she wandering around town in a cracked out mess she was wearing shoes identical to these...only dirty and tattered.

They look like something my grandmother would wear around the house when dressed for bed.

Hey, this is a major improvement! Seriously:
Her ballet slippers appear to be clean and semi-new.
She's got on a nice, clean dress.
She did her hair enough to hide the fake bouffant hairpiece.
Her skin doesn't look completely dehydrated and dying.
She looks washed and clean.
She looks more sober than we've seen her in months.

Hooray for minor but amazing improvements! Keep it up Amy.

She's lookin' better. I do wish she'd ditch the wig and heavy eye makeup. She looked much better without that shit in the pictures i saw of her on her tropical vacation. I really hope she can keep her shit together.
