Usher issues an apology

Usher has issued a statement regarding a video that circulated earlier today, that shows Usher and Johnta Austin making comments about Christina Milian and Chris Brown. In the video (that was later deleted from from youtube), Usher jokes about Christina’s new hair color and also questions Chris Brown’s “remorse” after looking at photos of the singer jet skiing in Miami.

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

News Outlets such as MTV and The New York Daily News has since turned his comments about Chris Brown into headlining news stories. This is truly an example of when celebrity blogging goes wrong.

WTF? He's apologizing for saying someone should be remorseful for beating his girlfriend?

Hmmm...he didn't specifically say Chris Brown so maybe he felt bad about the other mocking? I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt here because if he's retracting what was a great comment he goes back to being a dumbass.

He's retracting iy, but is being vague about it so the people who agreed with his earlier comments, won't turn tail and run on him.

Something smells like four day ol' fish.
People come out publicly against Chris Brown, then they retract the story, or they say he needs another chance. I'm guessing they're going on third handed stories, then someone who knows the actually story fills them in...and they retract!

Plus, it's not as though he REALLY apologized. He used the word "IF" and everybody knows if your apology contains the word "IF", it ain't no apology... at least that was the consensus last week with Miley Cyrus.

Agree, which shows what a twisted world celebrities live in nowadays.

The one celebrity that is somewhat within the same circle of community says something that is absolutely correct, yet has to offer some form of retraction or appearance of 'apology' just to appease chrissy's fantards that may turn on usher, or to appease brown's inner circle or even fellow celebrity supporters.
