Model Danielle Lloyd has spoken for the first time of the abuse she suffered at the hands of an ex-boyfriend.
The Liverpudlian beauty was a teenage model when she started dating her abusive ex, who she has declined to name.
During their turbulent two-year relationship, Danielle spent a week in hospital after one of his attacks.

As she prepares to relive her experience for a new documentary which she spent four months working on, the model released an unseen image of her battered face taken after one of his beatings.
The photo shows a young Danielle with a black eye and her lips bruised and swollen.
The startling image is uncannily similiar to one which surfaced on the internet of superstar singer Rihanna who was suffered an alleged attack at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant said: 'It saddens me to read about violent relationships. I’d advise any woman not to return to an abusive partner.'

Danielle opens up about her distressing relationship for Dangerous Love: A Comic Relief Special, which coincides with the launch of charity Refuge's new campaign against domestic abuse.

The glamour model admitted she thought her abusive ex was a 'lovely, generous' person when they first met, but she soon fell victim to his controlling behaviour.
She said: 'He’d call me a slag. Soon he started hitting me.
'Every time, he’d cry and say it wouldn’t happen again. Towards the end he was hitting me near enough every day.'
Following her final attack, Danielle lost consciousness and woke up surrounded by blood.
She recalled: 'I’d been out cold for three or four minutes... there was blood all over me, all over the bed, all over the walls.'
Danielle hopes by speaking out she can help women spot the warnings signs of a potentially abusive partner.
She said: 'Deep down you can’t forget what’s happened no matter how much counselling you have. You blame yourself and tell yourself you deserve it.
'I was given help when I most needed it and I want to be able to help others now.
'Too many women suffer domestic violence at some time and support centres aren’t able to answer all of the calls due to being under-resourced.'
After splitting from her ex and seeking counselling, Danielle resumed her modelling career and went on to win the Miss England title in 2004 and Miss Great Britain in 2006.
She was later stripped of her Miss Great Britain title when she posed for Playboy magazine.
She went on to date a number of footballers.
