By Jo Clements Last updated at 8:15 AM on 02nd March 2009 Don't look down: Victoria on her family day outKeeping up with three excited boys on a family day out can't be easy. In sky-high stilettos, Victoria Beckham didn't even try. The mother of three never shies away from a little pain in the name of fashion. But she elevated sartorial suffering to new heights when she insisted on Christian Louboutin high heels for a trip to a theme park at the weekend. In a comfy pair of trainers or flip flops, she would have had no trouble joining in the fun at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. But as she hobbled along in her five-inch heels, her lively sons, in shorts and sensible shoes, were no doubt leaps and bounds ahead. Mrs Beckham's poor feet looked like they needed a day out too. 'Victoria's feet looked almost out of shape,' one onlooker said. 'Her toes were squashed down at the bottom of the shoe and her ankles were forced forward. 'The shoes even look like they were too big for her. There was a huge gap at the back.' The Beckhams were visiting the theme park so Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz could try out a free-fall simulation ride. Jeans, trainers and baseball caps were the order of the day. But Victoria likes to stand out from the crowd. And she did in her sleek black dress, oversize sunglasses and favourite Louboutins. Mrs Beckham, 34, is rarely seen without her heels. Even when she was given the honour of throwing the first pitch at an LA Dodgers baseball game she wore wedges rather than trainers. However, for a family visit to Disneyland in June last year, she managed to slip into something more comfortable, showing off a pair of flip flops. But it was the briefest of dalliances with down-to-earth footwear. 'I just can't concentrate in flats,' she has said. In fact she blames her high heel passion for stopping her working out in the gym. 'I could go to the gym if I wore flats. I'd love to go to the gym but I just can't get my head around the footwear.' ![]() Victoria Beckham looks elegant but a little ungainly as she balances on those heels Femail's verdict on those heels At five inches high, Victoria Beckham's Christian Louboutin pumps are perfectly at home on the catwalk. A day out with the children is another matter. They look even higher thanks to Mrs Beckham's habit of choosing them a size too big. (She reportedly wears Louboutin's notoriously narrow designs a size up for comfort). Even so, it's difficult to imagine how anyone could walk elegantly in these for more than a moment at a time. Running after a family of boys racing for the rollercoaster would be impossible. Practicality aside, uber-towering heels are tottering to the top of fashion's must-have list this spring. Prada's latest high heels are so extreme that models toppled over in them at the fashion shows. But for many - Mrs Beckham included - Louboutin remains the master. His range includes heel categories of 'very high' and 'total madness'. Designs start at £400. He recently created 30 limited edition Marie Antoinette-inspired shoes on sale at £3,900 a pair. Everyone from Kate Moss to Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow to Madonna, has fallen for Louboutins, with their trademark scarlet soles. Oprah Winfrey is such a fan she devoted an entire segment on her chat show to him last year. But Louboutin claims that comfort is as important as style. The scary seven-inch heels he unveiled last year are discreetly stacked at the front, greatly reducing the gradient. To his fans, they must be the equivalent of a comfy pair of slippers. She's leaning forward on tiptoe in the awful picture. You can see that the heels are off the ground. The feet aren't quite as deformed looking in the picture where she's exiting the car. That being said, they still aren't funpark heels.

it's not spending time with her kids, it's the fact that she's mangling her fucking feet.

Didn't say it was different, or that is should be different. I wasn't even commenting on your post, or any other for that matter. I was posting in reference to the article:
