It's fair to say wild child Lindsay Lohan has had a rocky romance with girlfriend Samantha Ronson. In fact, the couple have had more public bust-ups than Punch and Judy.
But now I can reveal former party girl Lindsay is converting to Judaism – to prove her devotion to Jewish Samantha.
LiLo visited a London synagogue with her DJ girlfriend on Friday. And then she returned to the same place of worship in South Kensington for more yesterday – as Samantha’s official date for the bar mitzvah of her half-brother Joshua Ronson.
And Lindsay showed she’s really becoming part of the family by joining in with the post-bar mitzvah lunch in London’s Mandarin Oriental hotel.
Lindsay has even made her decision “official” – by updating her Facebook profile to say “I’m converting”. That’s commitment.
LiLo and Sam walked into the synagogue arm-in-arm for their first visit on Friday. When an onlooker asked the Hollywood starlet if she was converting, Lindsay revealed: “I’m trying.”
The recovering alcoholic, who was brought up Catholic, now faces lessons in the Jewish faith before an official conversion can take place.
But it helps that she’s staying at singer Bryan Adams’ house while she’s in London putting the finishing touches to her new album.
As well as being close to one of Lindsay’s regular London nightclub hangouts, Boujis, Bry’s place is just a stone’s throw from the synagogue.

If she is converting just because Samantha is Jewish then i think it's stupid and ridiculous. Either you believe in something or you don't. My husband is Catholic and i am Protestant. Neither one of us felt the need to convert to the other's religion. If she genuinely has found that Judaism is the path for her then great, but if she doing it just to prove her devotion to Sam then it's not practicing a religion for the right reasons.
She just wants her own belated Bat Mitzvah, and another reason to party.
That would be funny if someone told her that she had to have a bris, and she believed them.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
I doubt that the type of Synagogue she's going to requires a lengthy conversion. If it were Orthodox, it would take ages, but if it's Reconstructionist or Reform, it's probably pretty speedy. I'm pretty curious what type of synagogue it is.
Honestly, this is one chick I wouldn't mid $cientology getting to.
Maybe thats why it looks so bad - because she's not been? It looks like she's growing out a bad dye job, but why her hairdresser (or even herself) didn't darken the growing out bit to even it out I don't know! Hell my hairdresser could do 6 months treatments on what she pays for one and she'd NEVER let my hair look like that!
