Jennifer Aniston 'skipped charity event because of Gwyneth Paltrow'

Jennifer Aniston reportedly skipped a recent charity event where her pal Courteney Cox was being honored because Gwyneth Paltrow was also attending.
Aniston reportedly couldn't face Paltrow - who has previously dated her ex-husband Brad Pitt - because of how much Pitt used to love her.
So the former Friends actress decided not to show up to the 'do - but it caused tensions between Aniston and Cox, according to Britain's Star magazine.
A source tells the publication, "Gwyneth was also being honored at the event and Jen just couldn't deal with it.
"She's always been intimidated by her because of how much Brad loved her. And then later she was crushed when Gwyneth criticized her publicly - first referring to her as 'that TV girl' when she was dating Brad and then slamming her for talking so publicly about their relationship when they got divorced.
"She didn't want to face her."
Paltrow is now married to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin; Aniston, 40, is currently dating singer John Mayer.

I think Jen needs to grow up. She is divorced from Brad but sometimes I think she is the only one who does not know it.
Gwyneth would be the low point of the evening but she should have went for her best friend.

she wasnt even in the country the day of this event, her and mayer were on vacation for her birthday ; so was she supposed to have dropped all that for courtney

This is crazy stupid. No woman who spends that much time contemplating her own navel would still be hung up on an ex with whom she had no children. Not attending because of Gwennie Stick Up Her Ass makes perfect sense, but not because she used to date Brad, but because who wants to be in the room with Gwen? Also, what in the world would Courtney Cox be honored for????

her charity work, she is very active in charities relating to cancer and kids

i thought the story was that Gwyneth cheated on Brad and thats why he left her (she implied as much in a interview after the breakup saying she was the architect of her own unhappiness when questioned about the breakup of her relationship with him).
i dont think him and Aniston started dating until a year later , she was still with tate during the Gwyneth and Brad years i think.

I rumour that I think I read some where said that Pitt walked in on her orally servicing some producer.

i think this article is misleading you, Brad and Gwyneth had offically broken up long before he meet Aniston, i still remember the press linking him for months to various women after the breakup before he was spotted with Aniston
