From her pink Material Girl dress to her Evita wedding gown, what organisers say is the largest private collection of Madonna's film outfits, stage costumes and artifacts went on preview Friday.
Simply Madonna: Materials from the Girl unearths a treasure trove of more than 300 personal items from the star's 25-year career.
The Old Truman Brewery in London's Brick Lane is playing the unlikely host to the showcase of clothing, photographs, film props, costumes, concert outfits and personal items.

The exhibition also features multi-media displays and installations.
A collection of more than 30 dresses worn in the hit film Evita are included in the event as well as items representing Madonna's major performances, concerts and films.

Don't cry for her: A collection of outfits worn by Madonna in the 1996 film Evita are featured
Exhibition highlights include the pink dress worn in the 1985 pop video for Material Girl and the black and gold tasselled bustier worn in the video for Open Your Heart in 1986.
The exhibition is being curated on behalf of Marquee Capital, who own more than 150 Madonna memorabilia items.
Simply Madonna: Materials From The Girl is showing at London's Old Truman Brewery until March 22.

- Wedding dress worn in the 1996 film Evita
- Two MTV awards given to Madonna for Ray Of Light
- The complete outfit worn in the 1999 music video for American Pie
- The complete outfit worn in the 2000 music video for Music
