Little and large: Jodie 'the giant' Kidd towers over Rachel Stevens on Strictly Live tour

During the group dances on the last series of Strictly Come Dancing, producers must have gone to great lengths to make sure Jodie Kidd and Rachel Stevens didn't dance near each other.
But with only eight couples on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, it was perhaps inevitable the two beauties would end up in close quarters.
Caught on camera during a relaxed moment in between dances at Manchester's M.E.N. Arena, former supermodel Jodie looked like a giant as she towered over diminutive Rachel.

Standing at just 5 ft 1in, the former S Club singer is an amazing 13 inches shorter than Jodie, a statuesque 6ft 2in.
Which is the same height as her professional dance partner Ian Waite. While Rachel's dance partner Vincent Simone, measures in at just 5ft 7in.

During her 10 weeks on the show, Jodie's height became a frequent topic of discussion amongst the four judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood.
Ahead of her first dance, Jodie said: 'I really hope I can go out there and prove tall ladies can dance just as good as small ones.'

After performing an impressive foxtrot with partner Ian Waite in her first week, Len declared: 'I tell you, tall girls can dance! I was expecting awkward, but no.'
Jodie, 30, surprised the judges with her dancing skills and was voted off the show after losing a dance-off to finalists Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole.
After leaving the Strictly TV show, Jodie jumped at the chance to reunite with Ian for the live tour, which started last month.

She said: 'I had to put in a lot of hours to even pass muster because, at 6ft 2in, my biggest challenge was to control my limbs. I was paired with Ian Waite, who is also tall, and they called us the gargantuan couple.
'Strictly came at the perfect time and it was a good opportunity to say: "This is who I am."'
Jodie and Rachel have teamed up with Strictly contestants past and present, including this year's winners Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup, for the Strictly live tour.
2004 winner Jill Halfpenny is back with her partner Darren Bennett, as well as her former fellow contestant Julian Clary, who managed to survive to the final week despite receiving dismal scores from the judges.

At the recent Manchester date, it was perhaps no surprise to see Rachel and her partner Vincent Simone won after another impressive performance.
During their time on the TV show, they regularly scored top marks from the judges and narrowly missed out on the Strictly 2009 title to Tom and Camilla after their stunning freestyle dance.
Ahead of the tour, Rachel, 30, admitted she was disappointed she didn't win the Strictly title and vowed to 'thrash him' on the live tour.
