Well, that was fast.

Less than a week after word got out that Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss was dating Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen, Moss' publicist confirms to E! News that the actors are engaged.

Moss told usaweekend.com, "It happened just a few days ago...It’s private, so I don’t want to share the details of how it happened, but I will say it was perfect.”

Moss and Armisen were spotted recently together at the Vanity Fair party for Mad Men, and also at her Broadway production, Speed-the-Plow. (Yes, that Speed-the-Plow. The one with Jeremy Piven William H. Macy.)

Nice to see she has better luck in love that her Mad alter ego, Peggy, right? Moss is also nominated this Sunday for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Though I heard they were together recently at an event, so GOOD FOR THEM!

I haven't watched Mad Men either but I think my son does. Do they do rebroadcasts or "catching up/marathon" days?

My daughter and I worked in the movie "The Promotion" and Fred Armisen is in it. He is the nicest guy ever, he was actually apologizing to us about the nasty humid Late-August Chicago weather and thanked us for hanging in there (we were filming outside with hazy sunshine & 92 degrees). It was my daughter's first acting job. She told him and he congratulated her and took a photo with her. Love him....so glad he's found love.

Does anybody have a normal picture of Elizabeth Moss? I'm curious about what she looks like when she isn't made up like her dowdy "Mad Men" character.

By the way, the show is GREAT (but depressing). Very evocative of its time period in look and attitude.
