Diddy (Sean Combs) blows $750 000 on 'Bond audition' tape
Diddy: ‘I Am King’ Promo Is Audition Tape for First Black 007 Role
Posted by Juan
Inspired by Obama’s Victory, Diddy seeks to make history as First black Bond using creative audition tape
So if you were as confused by Diddy’s whole explanation of the theme behind his I Am King fragrance and how it all tied into Barack Obama’s historic victory you weren’t along but it appears we finally have the answer. Sean “Diddy” Combs has actually been using the ad campaign as a shameless plug/ audition video for James Bond franchise producers in hopes that his on screen swagger will persuade the film makers to cast him in an upcoming flick thus making HIM the first black Bond.
“This is my audition tape for the next James Bond,” Diddy explains in his video blog below. “There is a black president, and it’s time for there to be a black Bond.”
According to Britain’s Daily Mirror, Diddy will face stiff competition from Akon and accomplished Academy Award winner, Jamie Foxx who have both expressed interest in such part should it become available . The current Bond, Daniel Craig has been cast in the last two films Casino Royale and most recently Quantum of Solace. Judging from the run of his predicesors which include Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan, Diddy and the gang will have to wait at least a few more flicks before filmakers are looking to cast a new bond. Perhaps his largest obstacle to overcome however is that the franchise has always selected an English actor to play the part which could put Diddy at an extreme disadvantage.
But if you ask Diddy he’s faced obstacles before and remains undeterred dropping a reported $750,000 on the campaign/ audition tape which he filmed on the set of the recent Bond Flick “Casino Royale” which was set in the South of France.

Bond is not black and even if he was it would definately not be Diddy.

Wrong! In fact, you cannot even say that all of the Bond actors have been British, as two weren't.
Sean Connery - Born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
George Lazenby - Born in New South Wales, Australia.
Timothy Dalton - Born in Colwyn Bay, Wales.
Pierce Brosnan - Born in County Meath, Republic of Ireland
The only Bond actors to be English by birth are:
Roger Moore - Born in Stockwell, London.
Daniel Craig - Born in Chester, England.
David Niven - Born London, England (am including DN because technically he did play Bond on the big screen, even if it was in a spoof).
As far as Fluff Faddy goes, I really cannot see him as James Bond. Bond exudes confidence, Fluff exudes arrogance. Bond makes love to beautiful women, Fluffy looks like he wants to make love to himself.

I object to that statement on the grounds that it is insulting towards roaches dwelling on the top of ham sandwiches. I would rather see a roach than Fluff Faddy any day.

Diddy will be Bond when Paris Hilton plays 'Kizzy' in a remake of Roots.

The character is written as being the son of a Scottish father and a Swiss mother, so Connery - a Scot- was correct casting.
I understand that there should be more parts for black actors, but I hate when established literary characters are changed. Someone can create a black 'double o' agent, but leave Bond as is.
That said, if there is ever a black Bond, a person that's attractive and can act should be cast.....not this disgusting mouth breather.
BTW...the first on screen Bond was an American....Barry Nelson in a 1954 TV version of Casino Royale.
