Emma Watson: 'Hollywood is bitchy'

Emma Watson has revealed that she won't be moving to Hollywood anytime soon because she finds actresses her age to be "bitchy".
The Harry Potter star said that although she loves the LA lifestyle, she would hate to be compared to US tabloid favourites.
"Gosh, I could never be that bitchy," she told AOL's Moviefone. "I think that living in England, it's very disconnected from Hollywood. There's a very different approach and attitude towards it. Acting in a starry way is just not tolerated. You will just have the p**s taken out of you."
"I think that it's a wonderful lifestyle that you have [in LA]," she added. "The weather is amazing and everyone seems very healthy.
"It seems like a really nice place to live. Obviously, if I had to film here or whatever, then that would be great. But I don't really know a lot of people here."

Yah, and she's the holy saint of England? She probably started smoking and drinking before most hollywood actresses. I don't think she's that innocent as she comes across.

She's had her moments (though no worse than any other teenager).

She's right about Hollywood, but for some reason, I can't see her making it too far in HW trying to get in other movies. She's just always gonna be that one kid who was in HP.

Emma Watson says she has no use for the £10million she has amassed by staring in Harry Potter films.
The 18-year-old vows she will never take a role because of money as she is determined to maintain a low profile throughout her career.

'The wealth side of it hasn't hit me yet because I have no need for money in my life. My life will not be motivated by money' says Watson.

'I will never do a film because they're going to pay me a certain amount of money. It's liberating. It means I can hopefully make great choices.'

The Parisian born-star, who plays Hermione Granger in the films, says: 'I have a more normal life than people expect. When I take public transport, people are like, 'That girl looks like the girl from 'Harry Potter', but it can't be her on the train.'

'I get stopped by people, but that's fine. I'd never want to be so famous that I couldn't live a normal life to a certain extent.'

Watson says she feels sorry for the likes of Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, telling: 'I can't imagine anything lonelier, just not being able to be part of the real world and being trapped and locked in hotel rooms and cars.'

I think she's going through that stage in a young actress' life where she's trying to get public credibility by slagging her own business. The whole idea is that you take a few shots at Lindsay Lohan, or say you drink tap water, and people are supposed to say "How down to earth". I wish they'd just take the money graciously. Is that so hard??

She's going to be in rehab by the age of 21.

She seems like the person who's always distraction attention off herself and playing the good girl. She's a lousy actress. When she realizes people want her mainly cause of Harry Potter and not for anything else, it's going to be a vicious downfall for this girl. Just wait. I'm predicting Emma is going to fall like Lindsay and Britney has. She'll be attacking some photographer or screwing around like Sienna Miller. I always thought this girl had the Johnny Carson syndrome. Cheery on the outside, but demons on the inside. She puts on fake smiles, when I think deep down she wants to tell people to screw off.
